“Its no longer really called abes but it will always be known as abes. This place is good have good food to eat, gas prices not to bad friendly cashiers the owner is pretty cool. Go see what you can grab from the mart they have some good selections.”
“The word convenience in convenient store doesn’t do justice for Adams Mart! You not only get the convenience you get love and respect because the owner and his employees show nothing but love and respect to ALL the customers!”
“Wow, now that's a bait and tackle store! I visited Betty's Outdoors trying to find certain items for my own fishing adventures. It's worth the drive to Walnut Cove from anywhere to finds over a hundred or so flavors for carp and catfish bait of local and regional origin. You can find current, popular and name brand products for fresh and saltwater fishing expeditions. By the way, there are several carp ponds nearby so it's conveniently located to get some action. To quote Arnold, "I"ll be back".”
“Best grocery store in King. Shop the sales, check the salad bar, super deli and bakery. Take a break at the bar and enjoy a cold brew, and a great wine selection.”
“With the prices on groceries being as high as they are, we are always looking for the best deals. The prices I've found so far, supercedes any major supermarket, and the quality of each item, is not only close, but sometimes better than the high priced name brands. From meat, to chips and many others, Aldi has turned me away from shopping at so-called "name brand" supermarkets. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Parking is vast, and the location is kept clean.”
“My favorite place in summer! The produce cooler room is awesome always well refrigerated and so cool on a 100° southern summer heat exhaustion day!! Great place to hang out when the air in your car and home are on the blink! Bonus fine produce to pick through!”
“Big and very clean place. Excellent employees and helpful! First time in there on a Friday for lunch time with my two girls. Got lunch to dine in and spent around $55. Horchata was delicious!!”
“I don't often pick up groceries but when I do, this is my first choice. Extra clean - who wants to buy food in a dirty grocery store?
The layout is easy to figure out. The prices and selection are good. The best part is the staff. They have been very friendly. I especially like how they seem to sense when help is needed and step in but acknowledge when you think you're okay.
I came for the Peppermint Stick ice cream, which should be available beyond Holiday season - but regrettably is not. I keep coming because they won me over.”
“Prices are average with deals always to be had. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Good availability and selection. Baked goods are always fress as is produce.”
“Eclectic spot with coffee, a deli, and grocery items (including fresh foods, beer and wine). Staff is super friendly. Went the extra mile to wash strawberries for my daughter to eat on the spot. Great stop for lunch with the family.”
“Ran to pick up a quick pre made salad at Deli. Not a salad in sight. She did offer to make one but I was really in a hurry and time was limited. 4:30 a time most people are getting off work and need to grab and go”
“Love my Lidl! Employees are always nice and helpful and the store is kept nicely. May not have exactly what I want but I can pretty much always find a substitution.”
“This is a great store to shop in. The selection is great, especially in light of today's supply issues. 04_25... this store never disappoints me!! Selection continues to be great and customer service is eonderful!!”

“Love this grocery store. Meat and produce are fresh and a nice variety. Prices are better than most places. Clean restrooms and friendly staff. Checkout is always quick.”
“Life-saver on many occasions. They're pricey but not too much and it makes sense because of where they are and how late they open. Nice service for groceries and some fresh produce which is always nice. The vibe is great. Can be a bit intimidating to join the bar crowd because they all seem to be from the neighborhood but I can't say they're not welcoming.”
“I went in to the hot food bar and got the fried chicken, macaroni/cheese, potatoe wedges, green beans and some candied apples. Now you know you can't have the meal be all the way complete if you don't have that mf cornbread. The cornbread is so good laying beside them candied apples soaking up the juices. ?
I think that you should take a break in the kitchen and let Lowes give you the same excellent food experience that they gave me. ?”
“Friendly service and lots of locally produced baked goods, produce, cards (birthday etc), teas, candy, jewelry and more. Store is in a pretty and quaint small town. Interesting stop; we enjoyed it.”
“Truly the best grocery store experience! One person helped me find a brand of yogurt that was lactose free, and my cashier was exceptional (helping me to enroll in rewards and wrapping my eggs up safely) This truly feels like a luxury grocery store! I also really appreciate real ingredient options - my dr has my on a strict ingredients list, and I was able to find salad dressings that fit the bill!
If I were to offer any feedback, it would be slightly cleaner ingredients in the bakery. A lot of oils that dont work for me personally. But looking at it all still feels like a treat and im sure they taste heavenly ??”
“I love my new food Lion and all of their lovely employees? Shout out to Paul for always being where he's needed. Way to go cart pushers you're doing an awesome”
“I visit Roger’s year round. I have had the greatest gardening success from plants I get here!Pumpkins in the fall are bountiful and many different sizes to choose from.Christmas tees. Beautiful. Fresh. Last well beyond the Holidays!Plus, Sandi and the staff are friendly and informative.”
“They're actually doing better at this Food Lion so I want to change my review. It's been cleaner and most employees are helpful. They have hired new employees and it's obvious that someone has trained them properly. I would keep an eye out for how they bag your groceries if you care about having your bread items possibly squishy or your other items damaged. I also have them double bag because their bags are really of poor quality.
Give it try and you can always find somewhere else if it's not to your liking.
Update: The employees have better attitudes and are very helpful for the most part which is nice to see. I'm back to shopping here regularly and I'm glad because I've been in the area for 20 years now and this was the first grocery store I frequented. So I can happily recommend them once again. :-)”
“I'm a big Walmart fan especially in this economy. Personally I make the time to compare prices with my favorite grocery store and I always utilize the app for pickup in order to avoid extra spending that inevitably happens when I shop in the store. I do recommend this Walmart.”
“Kids menu items had odd taste. Ended up sharing my burrito which was delicious with my oldest daughter after she stated her food tasted like a soggy burrito with sweet tomato sauce all over it.”
“Great "Kountry" store if they don't have what you need the owner will go above and beyond to try her best to get it for ya! Love the small town atmosphere. New owners are wonderful people.”
“Harris Teeter on Reynolda Rd is one of the better grocery stores in the area to shop for produce. Sometimes, the prices are a little high, but you can usually save a few bucks by using your VIC card. Overall, HT is a better class of grocery store.”
“Very clean and neat store for the most part. There are some products that need to be pushed forward and organized so you know how much a product is. This is coming from the fact that I have worked in retail a lot. Friendly staff, and prices are as expected! Excellent little general store to buy cheap stuff at!”
“Associates have been a little distracted discussing personal lives, but not rude when asked for help. Lines are normally fairly quick and there was a pretty good selection of products even ones with sales.”
“Great mid-sized US regional neighborhood grocery supermarket that you can get in & out quicker than any other mid-sized grocery ever and that has a great selection of most all types of foods etc for a store of its size located in a (cluster of of four great midsize shopping centers) at the convergent of two significant city streets Robinhood Road & Peace Haven Road in Northwest Winston-Salem, surrounded by three of the most significant established high-end and mid to high-end residential neighborhoods in Winston-Salem with a significant variety of mid to high end stores to satisfy most every of your daily shopping needs, including a huge very popular YMCA, best hardware store in town two dry cleaners (one of which is about the best in town, two other grocery stores, one of which is probably the highest in grocery store in town and the other of which is probably the largest US regional grocery store that also targets high-end shoppers with a significant number of high-end specialty foods!”
“My family and I are new to the area from FL. We were not familiar with Food Lion. We have only been to this location and one other in WS. We love this location in Rural Hall. The staff is helpful and friendly. The store is clean and organized. Love the fact they still
Have cashiers.”
