“I had visited this store many years ago because I live nearby and needed some gasoline or perhaps some kerosene, seems like a nice enough establishment to do business with, I stopped in last week in hopes they would have some fence nails because I was putting up a fence at the house and really didn't feel like driving all the way to Lowe's so I had my brother in-law call the store to verify if they might have the nails I needed and he spoke with someone there and they acknowledged that they did infact have the nails we were looking for plus a good assortment of other nails and various fasteners if we needed anything else too.
My brother in-law and myself got in the car and drove to the store but when we arrived and inquired about the nails we were pointed towards a mostly bare shelf with very little in the way of nails, there were an assortment of screws but not very many and certainly nothing we could use for the project at hand...so unfortunately we had to make the trip to Lowe's anyway.
You can take away from this review whatever you like but it didn't exactly work out as planned on this day for me”
“Tim's is more than a regular convenience store. They have a down to earth atmosphere inside and sell almost anything you need. I go there a lot when I'm in a pinch and need a baking, potato or an onion. They also have bananas and cabbage and many other vegetables and fruits.”

“Went to the store in Valdese and it is built on a hill, cart got away from me when trying to load grocery started rolling across parking lot toward another car ran after it and fell, scratches on my elbow, knee and hurt my thumb it has turned purple, the should do something about this lot especially for the older people that shop here...needs to be flat”
“I've been coming to this ingles for a long time, and popular to contrary belief ingles isn't "the most expensive grocery store" they have amazing managers specials all the time and if you put a little time into checking their ads they have great deals, and you can shop here like you would other stores to save money. A lot of the employees have been there a long time so it's nice going in seeing familiar friendly faces. I like that this grocery store doesn't stink! A lot of older grocery stores carry a musty smell, this one does not. They have a huge variety, the (new) beer/wine section is convenient. They'll get a fifth star when they open a Starbucks in here”
“I have been going to this food lion for a longtime as it's the closest one to me. The people are great and they do a pretty good job on keeping things stocked. There's only one issue I have and it's been going on for years now. Most of the time the whole store smells like sewer or Sulphur or something. Sometimes it's not too bad but other times the smell of rotten eggs will knock your head off. It's definitely not something you want to smell or even think about when buying your food. Like I said it's been going on for years and even when it isn't bad you still smell it. The scent is probably stuck to everything in there.I feel sorry for the employees that have to work in that.. 5 minutes in the store when it's bad gives me a horrible headache. I don't know if they need to get the city of morganton ,a plumber, a food lion maintenance man or someone from Corporate but please get someone out there to find out and fix the problem. If something doesn't change with it soon I'm gonna start shopping somewhere else I'm afraid.”
“Locally owned and operated country store... This year they've been proudly opened for 50 year's... usually the cheapest place for gas around the area and this time of year they have lots of fresh produce...”

“I just moved back to North Carolina from Florida, and my cousin told me I NEEDED to go check out the upgrades that have been made to Ingles. She specifically told me to go for the wide variety of vegan/plant based selections as well as the awesome discounts they give on things that are close to going out of date. Let me tell you- I’m so happy I did! I got 3 packs of plant based meat for .99 cents, and a lot of other items worth around $6 each just for .99 cents. If you pay attention, yes Ingles can be a bit pricy, but notice the sales- you can find prices here better than any other store if it’s on sale! They carry a LOT of local items and items made by small businesses too, which I love. Lastly, their bakery, deli, salad bar, and hot food bar are insanely large! A must try? The pistachio muffin! Scrumptious! This is our new go to grocer. I can’t believe I finally found some of my favorite brands I haven’t seen since I worked at Sprouts down in Florida!”
“Got stuck in a nasty rain storm on our motorcycles, pulled in, and Tammy was the best! She even put a pot of coffee on so we could warm up. Very much looking forward to trying the grill on our next trip through.”
“I love this new store..they have an awesome variety now bigger store nice and clean, friendly staff but of course u have to wait in line sometimes but it's worth it..we all need to learn to have patience in life and it would make a big impact on all of us..if u haven't been yet take some time off and go there...it really is a totally different store and u will love it to...it's one of my favorites so make it one of your favorites...”

“Small independent gas station that offers both gas and diesel. The inside has the usual convenience store items and Hunt Brothers Pizza.All in all, this is not a bad stop for gas.”
“Products are easy to find & usually in stock. Customer service could be a bit better. I prefer an actual cashier vs. selfcheck. Greeting customer is very important, not just telling them the total.”

“Although this place is usually messy and sometimes utter chaos, I do like the fact that I could usually find what I need at a reasonable price. I use the app for coupons for really good deals, however read the fine print. Oh and clip the coupons before you go in because signal is weak in the store.”
“Always have friendly employees, clean store, they have a lot of new decor items and great selection! Prices aren't bad at all.And another reason for the 5 stars is the fact that I have seen employees with tattoos, piercings and even colored hair! I'm glad they are an open minded place of business! “I love Dollar General! This is location is close to my house; so I shop here frequently. I like stopping at DG when I need to grab a few essential things or when I need a quick gift. They have a great selection of seasonal decor and party supplies at reasonable prices. The employees are always friendly too!”
