“This is my go to local gas station. The location is fast, easy and convenient. The regular staff is generally pleasant and helpful. Good selection of snacks and drinks. I only wish they would stay open approx 1-2 hours later each night, but aside from that, I have no complaints.”
“Had to get something quick and it was very delicious chicken tenders and I got potato wedges which was also great taste and great prices. The gentlemen that helped me behind the counter was the sweetest man if I knew he'd wait on me every time I'd be there. Satisfied customer”

“Brand new pumps put in several weeks ago. Gas prices are very competitive and usually one of the lowest if not the lowest in town! They also have diesel and a Subway here in addition to your standard convenience store. The Subway and convenience store has operating hours but the pumps are open 24/7.”
“Family oriented, honest, thorough and all around excellent to take your vehicle. Garrett sincerely care about his customers and doing it right without breaking the bank. Only place I will take my vehicles!!! Highly recommend!!!”
“This place has the best subs the best bbq, hotdogs , and sausage! The people are very friendly. Mrs. Connie is the best one yet she’s so friendly and good to everyone she’s a very hard worker. I love this place.✅”
“I frequent this business alot for the gas and the no fee ATM. There are two locations, both on my way to work with the south 17 location across from Albemarle hospital a two minute drive from my job, making it super convenient. Staff is always cordial and polite. They lock the door on one side of the store at 7 pm (I believe) so if you need to go in to pay for gas or make other purchases, you might want to pump your gas on the side where the door stays unlocked. They also have an air pump/ car vac on the outside.”
“This pit stop has everything: gas, clean restrooms, the largest selection of beverages and snacks I've ever seen, a snack bar, hand dipped ice cream, lotto (VA and NC since this building is situated right on top of the border--hence the name), OBX merch and souvenirs, take-home barbeque, and lots of regional products. What's a regional product, you ask? They have Stuckey's products, McCutcheons jams and such, and Wells barbeque sauce, a staple in my house. We buy two jugs to last us a year between trips to the Outer Banks, can't can't can't live without it! They have teeny tiny 18oz. bottles for the babies, and one gallon jugs for the adults, take yer pick. Basically The Border Station is the best pit stop on the East Coast, my oasis on my way to or from the OBX.”

“I've only stop by here for gas. The best thing I love about this place is the fact that it is easy to go in and out of. Quick and easy for those "I'm running late" kind of morning. It's right off of the main road. Mini mart is open for snacks and drinks. It's also right next to a Hardee's to multi-task. While someone is pumping gas another person can run and grab breakfast or lunch. One stop.”

“They don’t have any trashcans at all outside any of the gas pumps, and they don’t have any of those windshield cleaning station things that are usually attached to the gas station trash bins ... Which kind of sucks to not have at a gas station... Other than that, it’s great.”

“Nicky, or however you spell her name (I'm not sure, but she's the late-shift woman I see regularly)
She's the most constantly, consistently positive person I look forward to seeing on my way home. She's so nice and I'm always happy to see her... we'll joke a bit, trade a joke, talk about life.
She gets it, she's a lovely person, and sometimes I just stop by for something I don't need, just because I want to see her face... share a laugh or thought.
Give this woman a raise, she's lovely, she's funny, she's the real deal, a truly kind person.”

“You can get ice, lottery tickets, play lottery machines along with gas. Soda, tea and beer can be bought cold from the coolers. If you are hungry personal pizzas or regular size pizzas are available. There's breakfast sandwiches. For lunch or supper you can buy dinners. Fried chicken, pork chops, chicken livers, mashed potatoes and gravy, fried apples, corn, potato wedges and more.”
“All the negative reviews are true. But I am giving this a 4 star because I thought it was an experience - the random things they have for sale, the dirty bathroom, the possibly sketch humans?. It's still cool.”
“Has been a local staple for the south mills community for a very long time. Small convience store but has what you need from snacks, to small tools, and dog/cat food. Also has a small kitchen in back”
