“Kelly’s General Store which is the Cubby’s Bait and Tackle shop is fantastic! They have a continuous selection of fresh bait from crickets, an assortment of fish, and also have the rods and reels and accessories to go with it. They are always friendly and willing to help their customers also.”
“We love to stop in here for snacks! During the warmer months, Rita stocks all kinds of fresh produce from local farms. She has a fantastic selection of local meats and cheeses and gets a shipment of fresh seafood every week. The farm store is a must-stop if you’re heading out to Lake Lure!”

“This shop is amazing, truly a gem of Saluda! Everything is made there and it’s all so good. The cider is probably some of the best I’ve ever had. We were very impressed with the selection of apples they had, which included Arkansas Blacks- my husband’s favorite. The lady (owner?) was so friendly and we had a nice conversation with her. Definitely stop if you’re passing by!”

“Maybe Food Lion gets a bad rap for being on the lower tier of shopping experiences but that wasn't the case here. I stopped in and had a pleasant time. Sunday late morning, the store was clean, it was quiet and it was well stocked. I had no problem finding fresh sliced cheese and turkey in the deli and some pork rinds in the chips aisle. A perfectly keto-compliant meal and super easy to eat. Yay!

“Mason had met the nicest truck driver today . He is a truck driver for are dollar general store in millspiring . He had let mason climb up in his big rig and blow the horn and talked and showed him a lot in what to know if you drive a big rig . So nice and great with helping a child dream of being something when he becomes a adult. “My Go To! Great peopleUpdated Review: 6/22/22This DG is still my go to and for the most part everything is usually ok as far as finding what I need. For the past 6 months or so I have only seen the same 2 or 3 ladies in there working everytime. I know most Dg's always have a line for the checkout because the only have one register usually open. BUT, from what I have seen recently these ladies are overworked and terribly understaffed. These inventory carts have been sitting down all of there isles for MONTHS!You can hardly get down the them. They have no help whatsoever to get this mess taken care of. I have never seen it this bad. So If HUMAN RESOURCES reads this review, hire these women some help! If I wasn't a 24/7 caregiver I would go help for free!”
