“I've been ordering from Firestorm for many years and their shipments have been timely, and even more important to me is the workers have been very thoughtful, communicative, kind. They often include a really good sticker or zine in packages too.
I'm not local so haven't been able to go in person but I deeply appreciate Firestorm workers' collective praxis of still requiring masks after so many other counter culture spaces have abandoned that / capitulated to over-culture. Thank you for not leaving those of us behind who have been disappeared by most in person spaces these days.

“What a delightful find in the heart of downtown Asheville! Located in the historic Grove Arcade, the Battery Park Book Exhange & Champagne Bar is an eclectic, luxurious experience. A beautiful bookshop with rare editions winds through the shop with seating both downstairs and upstairs. Think Biltmore smoking room meets Edith Vanderbilt's bedroom. The Champagne bar has flights to enjoy along with an extensive wine list and coctail offerings. The menu for food is simple but thoughtful and intentional. I had the Goat Expectations sandwich and it was delicious. I loved sitting below the gorgeous vingtage lighting fixtures. The Charcuterie board is phenonemal. What a wonderful way to spend a Thursday afternoon or Saturday date. It's truly a destination!”

“What a cool and cute lil book shop with a cafe! There's so many knick knacks and puzzles too! The atmosphere was laid back and the ladies at the register were very knowledgeable about the area and funny!
The young man at the Cafe was super friendly! Our drinks were perfect for the weather. I really loved the mature plants all along the windows!
