232 Reems Creek Rd #2, WeavervilleWe normally have our dogs nails done here, usually by one of the ladies there. This week there was a young man there with a beard. He did our female chuawaua, she's a very old girl. He took his time with her and did the best job on her nails she's had in quite some time. If he's there when we return next month we'll definitely request him to do their nails. I never got his name so that's why I tried to describe him.

121 Barnardsville Hwy, WeavervilleEveryone at Broad River Animal Hospital is amazing. The doctor took the time to call and discuss medication options to give her the best quality of life as she aged and walking became difficult. And when it came time to make the decision to put our 16 yr old dog, Nala, down, they were fantastic. They set up the room, gave us privacy, explained the process and a few days later we received a card with her nose and paw prints in it, which meant so much to us. I cannot recommend them enough.

If you don’t come with doggies, it’s free, but if you love it like we do ask about the monthly pass. Honestly, I was not a big fan of dogs until we started coming here with our relatives. It changed my mind!
The dogs are super friendly: some just want to lie on the tables with their people while others are in a high speed group or playing in the water or in the separate hill with its own picnic tables.
Love the staff. They all love dogs, know their names, are really good at maintaining a happy playground. With a dog that might be difficult to get back into the car, I’ve seen the staff walk out to the car with an elderly owner.
Rotating taps are top flight local craft brews, but they also have soda and herbal bevs in cans.
Trivia, music trivia, musicians , breed parties, it is a fun place to be.
Bottom line: for a nice time out with your friends, human and dog, this is the best greater Asheville has to offer.
