Payton was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND! I will definitely be back. It's a little farther to go to than the one that's closer to me but this PSP is more professional, helpful, friendly and welcoming!
I stopped in here to check out the sales and discounted items for dogs and cats for a cat rescue I volunteer with as well as an animal shelter in SC I donate to.
The staff, at this location, are very professional, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming! The staff are also hardworking!!! The store is well stocked with products for your pets.
The prices, imo, are kinda high. It's nice that they price match other competitor pet stores prices.
Easy to get to and plenty of parking!

So we did much research and came across the deep litter system for our beloved chickens. The thought of no needing to clean the hen house for a year or two sounded amazing and there was one way to truly find out if it's true... pine shavings was a no go plus I'm allergic to pine. Hay or straw was also a no go got nasty mushy quick and you can smell the ammoniaThen comes the hemp...what a miracle. LOVE the smell of it nice and fresh...LOVE how absorbent it is...but most of all LOVE how it does not smell after months of use!!!!! But not all hemp is the same. We tried different ones and not only are they expensive the quality is not the same. American Hemp LLC quality is ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I included picture on our deep litter hen house after putting some more hemp on top of the exciting hemp. You will have to do research on how it works since there are a couple of way to do the deep litter and how to understand the process...but this project is the BEST. THANK YOU

My bird doesn’t really like other people but she spent time with him and made him comfortable with her and did a great job grooming him! I will never take him anywhere else. They are great here! Ruff Housing Country Club
5648 Country Club Rd, Winston-SalemFirst, sorry for the long review but wanted to be comprehensive. We took our previous dog, a Belgian Mali mix, to Ruff Housing for daycare and boarding. They were great with him. We had to say goodbye to Mr Newton in May at the age of 14. About 10 weeks ago we adopted a 1 year old German Shepherd from a rescue organization and yes, lots of energy.... like way lots. Today is his second day of daycare. Their people know different breeds and especially their age/temperaments. They have been INCREDIBLE with him for far. As a coincidence, he already has a buddy who's another German Shepherd.
Highly recommend Ruff Housing for both doggie daycare and boarding!

My cat boys fight (sometimes very vicious) for days after a vet visit, which is due to the unusual smells they return home with from the vet office. I thought I would try a mobile in-home vet from a friends referral of Dr. Klatt, and it was the best decision that I have ever made for all of us. Dr. Klatt's expertise, patience, and understanding of a high anxiety and easily stressed cat that hates any changes was executed with precision. I will continue to have her into my home for my cat boys for many years to come! Anyone that needs an in home mobile vet Dr. Klatt at Companion Animal Services is the one!!!!!!!!

(Asthma/COPD)She had an injection of steroids and oral dosing during allergy/pollen/dusty hay season. Advised more time outdoors for fresh air. Ard-Vista Animal Hospital: Gessner Matthew DVM
527 S Stratford Rd, Winston-SalemI absolutely love Ard-Vista! They were always extremely careful with my yorkie who had terrible health issues and a collapsed trachea. They saw us through both of my previous girls' passings and were so respectful of them through the process. Dr. Morrison even sent us heartfelt, handwritten card about how special he could tell our little Piper was to us and how sorry he was for our loss. We now have 3 Maltese. Dr. Gessner is our regular vet and he is extremely patient with me and my 1,000 questions as a constantly anxious dog mom. He always takes great care of my dogs and is very careful during procedures. The entire staff is fantastic and Jessica up front is an angel. I can not say enough good things about them.

4825 Country Club Rd, Winston-SalemWe reached out (frantically!) to Antione at Real Deal one weekend after our boy, Leonidas, took off after some deer, crossed a creek and a highway and we thought we lost him. Monday evening we showed up for our first training session.
Antione knows what he’s talking about. He knows dogs and of equal importance, he knows people. We saw immediate progress with our dog after a few private sessions and continued growth with weekly group classes. I’m no longer terrified to have him off leash and I’m confident that I will have control should we happen upon some deer again!

Our hound dog has been to Ruff Housing Witt infrequently over his 9 years and yet each time we approach the building and lobby he is excited. Pair that with a solid pastry selection and you’ve got a place that’s perfect for casual dinners, meeting friends, or even a special night out.
What really sets this place apart is the overall vibe: great service, great coffee, and a space that makes you want to stay awhile. Winston-Salem Public House is easily one of my favorite spots in the area, and I’ll absolutely keep coming back. Highly recommend!

We went in and were greeted by a friendly attendant. He explained then menu and we each ordered a different beer. The taste was impeccable. Those brew master's know what they are doing. The flavors were rich and notable. I will definitely put this on my list to recommend and return too..

Food is great and I can't praise it enough. Everything from the burgers, subs, and shakes are completely vegan so please don't waste time asking if any single ingredient is vegan. They have various house made lemonades available and, while the food is pricey, they have a March special of a specific burger, fries, drink, and two cookies for 15 bucks. Makes it easier to be a regular with deals like that. Rewards program too for regulars.
Only consistent gripe is the floor is always sticky. Just a sensory thing for me but I still come anyway.

JuggHeads have a nice selection of beers! Steven greeted us and I asked him for suggestions and what his favorite beers were. Steven made several suggestions and explained the flavors of the beers. I decided to get the Heist TuberQuench'l. The beer was very refreshing. I loved all of the flavors of the beer. I had a great time here and will definitely be coming back!

Fairytale Farm Animal Sanctuary
480 Wayside Dr, Winston-SalemFairytale Farm is a wonderful sanctuary that has been unmatched in their dedication and commitment to rescue efforts in our community. As the only rescue for domestic rabbits in our area, they were instrumental in saving over 70 domestic rabbits that had been dumped all over Forsyth County this past summer. Without Fairytale, those bunnies would not have survived. When my daughter was looking to add bunnies to a therapy program she was assisting with, Fairytale matched them up with three wonderful bunnies. If you are thinking of adopting, would like to foster or have some time to volunteer, Fairytale is a great choice!
It is a small organization and could use all the support possible from our community.
