“I really enjoy coming here because it feels like they have absolutely everything I could possibly need for a weekend project or home repair. The aisles are always packed with interesting finds, from tools to outdoor gear, and it is pretty easy to spend an hour just wandering around looking at all the variety. The staff is usually helpful when I have a question, even if it can take a minute to track someone down in such a large store. It is a super convenient place to get my shopping done in one go.”

Searching for a particular size was sometimes frustrating, but that's an issue with inconsiderate shoppers. Spent most of our time in the men's clearance section, which was huge. Took home close to $100 worth of name brand shirts for less than $30.”

“Walmart is one of the largest (if not the largest) retail stores in America. That being said, it's hard to help everyone during busy hours, however, with a little patience, you will get the service/help you need. The store was fairly organized and the cleanliness of the store was far from off-putting. Everything is labeled clearly with the aisle markers and make finding what you need painless. The customer service center was SLAMMED when I went in for a return, but the wait is what you'd expect with that many customers. The staff was friendly and helped me get my return done in a few short moments once I reached the register. There are plenty of self checkout lanes for those who don't want to wait in line for a cashier. The only time I've really been asked for my receipt at the exit is when I purchase big ticket items like electronics and furniture, which is really nice as some Walmart's ask for a receipt regardless of what you purchase. I have two Walmart's within 5 minutes of my home but prefer the 12 minutes drive for this Walmart. Easily one of the better Fargo area Walmart's.”

The Cincinnati-based supermarket giant will open about 110 new stores in fast-growing markets by 2029 and introduce three updated store formats, executives told investors Oct. 20 at the company’s Investor Update in New York. Kroger already runs about 2,700 stores in 35 states. The formats come in three sizes, a bit like small, medium and large, matched to each market. Mary Ellen Adcock, Kroger’s executive vice president and chief merchant and marketing officer, walked through the lineup.
Walmart shoppers want a head start on the holidays, and money explains a lot of it. Some 44% of respondents call affording the holidays their top stressor, and 61% say holiday costs shape their shopping mood. Asked what would make the season easier, 70% picked lower prices and 57% picked more deals and promotions. Convenience ranks lower: 30% want one-stop shopping across categories, and 20% want faster delivery.
