“LOVE LOVE LOVE this store! The people that own it are super sweet, friendly and welcoming to everyone and are very knowledgeable about all their products. They have spices that I can't find at most places and have the nicest oxtail ever. I also buy my grandkids hair products here and they're amazing. You can't beat their great prices either. If I could give you more stars, I most definitely would. If you've never visited, I definitely recommend that you do!”

“While the grocery prices are a little high, its the price of supporting a locally owned business. The environment is nice and their espresso drinks are to die for. I find myself coming back quite frequently for their white mochas (with oat milk) specifically :) I also really liked their seasonal option of the tiramisu latte! Sooo good!!”

“The only reason for 4 is because there is always room for improvement. I have been buying my Indian groceries from this store from the day when they first opened and it was 5 mins walking distance from my home to now 250 km from the store. They are honest, cooperative, punctual for pick up time. The website is useful, and if you want to add or substract items just call them within reasonable time and they will do it. Don't believe me, visit the store and experience yourself.”

“This store usually has everything that I need. If a sale item is sold out, it is usually replenished quickly. I find that this store is very clean and well laid out. The prices are decent in today's economy. The staff are phenomenal. They are very friendly and willing to help. Some of my favorites are Nadine, Jonathan, Kim and Colby. This is my main go to store. “Not sure what company runs the flower/ horticulture shops for Sobeys in Halifax, but they truly do an AMAZING job!! I am particularly impressed by the delightful array of flowers and plants always presented at the Queen St. Sobeys: they are always so well taken care of, and such a wonderful and ever-changing variety of species and varieties!! Most impressive indeed.”

It is exactly what you would expect from a convenience store. a mix of odds and ends you may need. Whats perfect is the fact they are open 364 Days of the year, so even when most everything else is closed, they are open.”

However, smokes are decently priced, it normally has what you need and you really start to like the guy behind the counter

“Excellent place! Clean and bright with excellent products at reasonable prices (someone mentioned in a review that there were NO expired products....this is huge..... some Asian grocery stores do try to move expired products...I can understand but it erodes one's confidence). The freezer section is big. I lived in Asia for 7 years and Vancouver for over 20... this store is a lifeline for me (!)”
