Since I've moved to Olmsted Falls at the beginning of the pandemic I've gone out of my way to go to this store, not only because they have 99% of what I always need but because its truly a convenient store, and the cherry on top is the friendly faces behind the counter.”

“NOW I GET IT! First and very important, people like to say the next generation doesn't like to work. In all fairness, we can't glom all young people in this category. I walked in Lil' Chet's to witness a young man vacuuming the floor, a very kind, patient and broad smiling young lady named Grace who wore the business brand well and then a taller, young man at the cash register and three other younger associates all busy at their post. I always thank people who are working these days but I'll go as far to say these associates were raised right. Bravo to whoever hired so many good workers. Now the Chicken. I walk To the back of the store and there it is.....a trove of fried chicken. I can't tell you how many people I know rave about this fried chicken. They say "it's the best around". I have driven past this place so many times, usually with somewhere to go. This time someone took the wheel and steered me straight in their lot. So I go in to see what all the fuss is about. Grace explained the difference of the chicken selection was. Just to sample, I opted for two thighs and one breast for beef and my wife with a side of sweet mustard. Got home to try it....Rats! I should have bought more.... The chicken was done right. Crispy, not greasy. In fact, if I had to rush out of the house, I know I could turn the doorknob with out washing the grease off my fingers. Breasts were not dry, thighs were tender, better than average in size and the mustard dip had a familiar taste to it but just enough off to make me consider it wasn't store bought and repackaged. So NOW I GET IT! What all the fuss was about. I'll be back for sure.”

“Butternut Corners Market is perfect for what it is - a little convenience store on the corner so you don't have to go all the way to the grocery for whatever you need. They have assorted cold drinks (pop, Gatorade, iced tea, energy drinks) and beer, sweet and salty snacks, a deli counter with premade hot/cold sandwiches, household items, grocery basics like milk, butter, cheese, bacon, ice cream, canned goods, even some household cleaning items and a small selection of vegetables. They have an ATM and lottery tickets. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. I stop by at least once a week, usually in my pajamas or something crazy, and they never bat an eye. I can't think of anything I would change - maybe ask them to stock G2? Pretty minor. If you see a crazy lady running on no sleep in her pajamas, perhaps with a small child in tow, that's probably me. Feel free to say hi.”

“I usually stop in 1-2 times a week for Monster Energy Drinks. The staff is accurate and friendly. The manager on duty during the morning is on top of everything. She's cleaning, wiping and spraying things down and making sure the staff is doing an amazing job, which they always are. The crew is only great with the leadership of their managers. This particular location is great. Great access to the freeway too.”

“Berea Beverage is my favorite, friendly neighborhood swill joint. Wide selection of great beers, at prices consistent with or lower than many other local establishments. Eventually you become a well-known regular. Which umm... your vices for Lottery or cigarettes are as bad as my penchant for fine craft beers and IPAs. Recently I was on a months-long stint of Great Lakes Commodore Perry IPS, at 7.3 abv I believe. Bout $10.09 six pack. Recently I switched to Rhinegeist Truth IPA, bout $10.90 after tax for a six pack of cans. Bottoms up!”
