“What a great guy! We were in town from Texas and had a suspicious noise when turning. After checking reviews we went to see Gibs thinking we needed to replace the wheel joints ($$). He was able to fix my problem with a couple zip ties and no charge! Amazing! He could’ve easy just done the job and taken my money because I felt I had be choice but he didn’t…and he also topped off the air in our tires!!”
“They honored their advertisement on a bew car special. No BS or bait and switch gimmicks. As odd as it sounds, thats a rarity amongst GM dealers in this region in my wxperience. They didnt make me waste time as a sales tactic either. came in, said i saw the ad and was interested. They showed me the options i picked one and finished the deal, left with the car. Refreshing if u know how dealers are doing things anymore. Serpentini all bait and switch advertisements, saay anything iver ohine to fet u in door, than at store will admit the ad was a lie and the my dont even have the car they promised iver phone. These guys are standup and straightforward. Thats actually a bug deal anymore”

“Great machine shop. Jim is very knowledgeable about what he does and is nice enough to explain exactly what he's doing as he works on something. He even took me through his shop and showed me all the machines and how they work, explained camshaft, valve and airflow theory to me in a way that is easier to understand for the average person. Anyway he built a set of gt40 heads for my mustang build and after I finally finished building the engine and got to drive the car everything performed flawless. I got a competition valve job and pocket porting done on the heads and I picked up gobs of power over my stock setup. I'm sure he got everything he could out of those production iron heads. Expensive, but worth the money.”
“The service was great--got questions answered and work to be done fully discussed. 2 things would make the process better. 1. Didn't realize there was the AAA discount. Should have been informed while writing up estimate.. 2. No mention of the charge for road test. If you have the work done perhaps that charge should be dropped.”

“This was my third trip to Great Lakes Honda to have my 2013 Accord serviced. The first trip, they did an oil change and recommended that I get my front brake pads replaced. This came as no surprise to me and I had them replace the front brakes a few weeks later.They've also replaced my transmission fluid and brake fluid, as recommended by the service manual.This time, I was taking in my Accord to have the timing chain replaced because that's recommended at 100,000 mi and I was at roughly 104kI was really surprised when. Mike, my tech supervisor, recommended that I not get the timing chain replaced. He said that is only necessary for V6s and I had a V4. What he did recommend was replacing the serpentine belt, the gasket at the top of the engine that was leaking a small amount of oil, and some sort of shield underneath the car that had come loose. He also recommended changing the original spark plugs.Basically, Mike recommended services on my car that were roughly $200 less than I thought I was going to be spending.I authorized the work and they finished my car the same day.My 2013 Accord looks, runs, starts and feels like new. With its heated leather seats, sunroof, 6-way adjustable front seats and a stereo that blows my hair back with zero distortion, I also don't fear getting onto the freeway and having an 18-wheeler on my tail anymore.The car pulls away from everything smoothly, quickly and quietly. It's the nicest car I've ever owned and the crew at Great Lakes Honda are the Only technicians who are allowed to touch my beloved EX-L.Mike, with 26 years of experience with Hondas, was honest, informative and up front with all of the charges. His people did excellent work every single time they worked on my car. Highly recommended.”
