    “The store itself was as expected but the claw machine did not work with credit cards or cash (paper). It will only accept coins, the cashier let us exchange $20 into smaller amounts but not into quarters, they said it will accept apple pay but we tried opening Apple Pay and couldn't get it to work. So we couldn't play it because we didn't have any quarters.”

    “I visited the FedEx store here. The associate who assisted me was absolutely fantastic. Line was building behind me but he was 100% attentive and we finished up no drama.     “I was in this Wal-Mart on Feb. 10th around 1:00 PM. And I was impressed with an employee that directed me to a cashier that had a shorter line. And the cashier (lane 9) was very nice, double bagged the heavy stuff, handled everything with care. And said thank you. The store was clean well stocked. I believe when a store is run like this it's all about the management team. I normally shop at the Kroger in Sunbury for food. That store is the opposite. The employees are aloof to down right rude, and the store is usually a wreck. It's all about management.”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
