“We were told about Uptown Cheapskate while I was on my way to another consignment shop. We arrived and were greeted warmly and were impressed with the collection of clothes they had. They explained the selling process and quickly took or merchandise. I received a fair price for what I had to offer and was on my way quickly. I will absolutely take more clothes here for resale or heck. To trade in as they also had nice clothes and a great shoe collection”

I purchased 3 dining room chairs that were in the furniture section. Do you know if you purchase furniture the Goodwill team will load it into your car?!
While Luke was loading he said, there’s a fourth chair, do you want it? I said yes, went inside and paid and then he loaded that chair too! He even took a photo of a table that just came in that matched the chairs to see if I wanted that. Exceptional customer service, thank you Luke!”
“Absolutely beautiful collection, very organized, and every time I’ve come in, I’ve been greeted with a professional helping me with my specific needs. I am treated like a princess every time I in. One time I came in needing an outfit and like a five minute period on the fly. I left with my favorite pair of boots and my favorite pair of jeans. I highly recommend the store!”

“I've always liked this thrift store but I like it even more in it's new location. There are such gems to be found here and the displays are changed regularly. I've found some great quality clothing here as well as china and glassware. They don't overcrowd it which is so nice. They also don't just accept everything that comes in the door which makes it easier when shopping for something that's gently used. Friendly volunteers make the experience even better.”

“I got a really nice marble table for my kitchen in my apartment for half the price of what it would have gone for elsewere here. Staff was nice and polite :) I really appreciate them letting me check out with the table after 5:30pm before closing. Absolutely love sitting at this table! Would recommend for a poor college student to find some quality furniture!”

“I bought a dishwasher here several years ago for $50.00 and still have it today.A couple months ago I was looking for a couch and didn't want to buy new I have dogs I found a nice sectional for $400.00”
“The young lady that waiting on me was professional, she answered my questions, without hesitation. I was happy that she suggested donating the winter jacket, it did have some stains on it. They have clothing they donate to Volunters of America right on the premise.”
“I like the deals but I agree with the other review about the lady with flashy glasses. I think she’s a manager,,, not helpful and differs all work or help to other workers. I won’t even check out w her. I purposely go to other staff. Very superior attitude.”
“I think it is a beautiful thing that a Goodwill has opened a kids only location for children in need. As I read through reviews, I am sad to see so many people against it. There are not many children's second hand stores and I hope this changes soon. Communities need more options than free stores and once upon a child. I am excited to see this location THRIVE and I speak life into it. I will help however I can!

“This is such a nice goodwill. The staff are friendly, and the place is clean. The items are of quality and the prices are fair given the selection. The colored tags that give you an additional discount which many stores don’t give often anymore. Highly recommend this place!”
“Very sweet shop- with racks for girls and boys displayed by size. I spent a while trying to figure out the size of a 5 year old relative who wanted a butterfly print. Didn't get any of these pictured but got some other sweet clothes. The sales reps and store associates were very helpful.”
“When will you fix the sizing issue in wokens? Every regular Ive talked to has complained about the lack of sizing from XL to 2x. Standard sizing goes xl to XXL but not beyond xxl. Plus sizes go 0x, 1x, 2x. You all have xl in 2 1/2 racks. But it doesnt make sense when you put X, XL, 0 Torrid (which is a large) and 1, and then 1x. Do you see where this is confusing? You aren't following American standard sizing. You are adding to confusion.
Your store was so much better before you changed the clothes section and took out the plus. Not all non plus women, and not all plus women want to search through items that they cant fit into. There is too much of a variety here.
Been to Marion and Sunbury and they dont do this.”

the reason for 4 stars is due to price. this is the first goodwill I've ever been to that prices the exact same for all clothing. every piece of clothing, I want to say was $5.79. so, 4 items are over $24.
typically, I'm used to each item being priced separately based on product. in a way, it felt like a lazy strategy to sell clothing. yes, I'm sure sometimes one can find a great deal and quality brands, but this strategy also leads people feeling as if they're overpaying at the same time
usually, goodwill has two color tags on clearance, one for 50% off and one for 30% off. I may have missed this, yet did not see the discount colors advertised at a glance
our checkout staff was friendly and kind. besides feeling that things were priced heavy, and in bulk, I did enjoy the layout of the store. I didn't see one item priced less that $1.99 in the entire store, even things that you'd expect to be less than a $2 price point”
