Hocking Hills Animal Clinic
1978 E Front St, LoganWhile camping and hiking at Hocking Hills State Park, Dorie, our 13 year old Dorkie, was injured. We contacted Hocking Hills Animal Clinic, in Logan, spoke with Rebecca, explained the situation, and she made an emergency appointment for Dorie. Twenty minutes later, we arrived at the clinic and were seen immediately by Dr. Eiier who attended to the injury. While her injury was not as serious as we first thought the compassion and kindness shown by the clinics staff eased our concerns. Our sincere thanks to these caring people.

Cristy's Pizza
1320 W Hunter St, LoganUsed to eat at Cristy's 30 years ago growing up and our family always loved them. Moved away and no longer had a location near us. Well, last month my husband, kids, and I went to Hocking Hills. We saw there was a location in Logan and I told everyone we had to try it. When I say this pizza did not disappoint even my East Coast husband. He told me yesterday he keeps thinking about it and wants to go back. Seriously amazing. We got three pizzas; a double pepperoni, a cauliflower crust cheese, pizza, and a salami, green pepper. All three were phenomenal.

58 West
58 W 2nd St, LoganHad a very nice evening. Was a surprise dinner for my wife and high school friends. Our server was great. On top of everything and very pleasant and friendly. If i had a negative: 1) a larger selection would be nice. 2) it was pricey. Understand that companies need to balance everything, it just seemed a little expensive.

Capt. Ron's Pirate Pizza
16757 OH-664 S, LoganFirst of all, the theming?? Insane!! Picture this, you're in the middle of Ohio craving some pizza and you come across a pirate captain named Ron? Our interest was piqued to say the least. 1. Our pizza was half pepperoni half supreme. Be PREPARED for crazy amounts of banana peppers. I used to hate them but maybe my taste buds are changing because it kinda rocked my world. Don't expect the vegetables to be cooked - in Ron's kitchen they like them crunchy I guess. 2. We ordered breadsticks but the employees might have been confused because we left that establishment with breadsticks and a special surprise... 2a. The breadsticks were breadsticks. Cheesy, garlicky, hitting the spot. 2b. HOT DOG BUNS as garlic bread we are guessing?? Clarify with Ron's first mates so you don't end up with hot dog buns, unless that's your thing in which case have at it.

Brewery 33 Hocking Hills, LLC
12684 College Prospect Dr, LoganThoroughly enjoyed the expierence, me and my wife each did beer flight and tried some mead as well as sandwiches and appetizers. We also got a 32 oz crowler to go as well as some souvenirs, all of that was less than $100. The prices here are some of the most reasonable prices we’ve seen in recent memory. Carliegh and Ashly were our servers and they kicked ass! I’d recommend this brewery to anyone and I’d suggest doing what we did, and grabbing a nice cold beer after hiking the hocking hills trails (it’s only 20 minutes from the park).

Millstone Southern Smoked BBQ
12790 Grey St, LoganI was amazed at how great our experience was here. Our server was friendly, helpful, and attentive without being overbearing. The food was outstanding! We had onion straws as an appetizer. Those were delicious. I ordered the meat sampler and everything on my plate was to die for. I especially liked the ribs, pork, and sausage. I don't think you can go wrong with this place. If you're on the fence, definitely try this place out.

Hungry Buffalo
12762 Grey St, LoganGot here on a weeknight about 6pm and it was dead. That might’ve been a clue (it is off season for Hocking Hills), but it filled up with customers as we ate. I love soft pretzels with a draft beer, but I was dismayed that they had a garlic butter coating. My wife thought it was amazing, and complimented the queso well-which, to my surprise, it did!
The buffalo chili was good as well.
She got the chicken Philly, which was good and huge. We took it back to the cabin and had plenty for dinner the next night. She got a large portion of fries, and a pretty good Mac & cheese.
I was intrigued by the meatloaf; and yes, the “red sauce” is ketchup. Not bad though-something you’d make at home for dinner.
Service was good, beer was cold. Overall, a nice place I’d eat at again.
