Not to mention the courteous staff who made sure to greet me as soon as I arrived. “I had a great experience at this branch on Monday, 12/18. I went in to cash a check; the teller Anna was very polite and helpful. While at her station, I saw an informational flyer about high rate CDs, which she gave me further information on and contacted a loan officer to assist me further. That’s when I met with Ray, who was efficient, knowledgeable, and very helpful. All in all, I cashed my check and was able to open a 7-month CD in under 15 minutes. Very grateful for this branch.”

“I've done my banking with Ohio Savings now Flagstar Bank since 1997.The Wickliffe branch was my home bank and now the Mentor Branch since moving to the Mentor area.The name has changed but the staff at both branches are great and are eager to help you with all your banking needs.Both locations from my experiences will keep giving you reasons to not bank anywhere else.”

“I’m in the process of buying a new car and I had to get a cashiers check? I didn’t even know what that was, and it was for a lot of money so I was a little nervous from the get go. On top of that, I lost my debit card, I had checks that needed to be deposited, money transferred from one account to another… I was prepared to be there for awhile. Payton helped me out and made the experience not only super smooth, but super fast too! I was in and out in less than 15 minutes, and I didn’t even have to wait for the new card to come in the mail.. Everyone was very friendly and the free candy iced the cake!!!”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Stars Isn’t Enough. This Chase Branch Is on Another Level
From the literal second I crossed the threshold of the door, I was greeted by not one but TWO of the most attentive, upbeat, genuinely kind tellers I’ve ever encountered: Celeste and Oddy (ODDY). And when I say greeted, I mean it felt like a friendly competition of generosity. Before I could even fully step inside, they were asking if I needed help. It was impressive. It was coordinated. It was almost Olympic-level hospitality.
When I mentioned I’d be waiting a few minutes for the people I was meeting, they immediately offered coffee. Not just “there’s coffee over there,” they asked if I wanted some. Then they asked if I wanted cream. Then they made sure everything was just right. I’m not even kidding when I say I don’t usually tip at Starbucks, but I almost wanted to tip these bank tellers. It was that next level.
At one point, one of the coffee cups had the tiniest drip, and before it even had time to think about hitting the floor, another employee swooped in with napkins like it was a perfectly rehearsed Broadway performance. It honestly felt orchestrated. The teamwork. The awareness. The care. Unreal.
Then the manager, whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch but who deserves a huge shout out, came over personally to check on us while we waited. She asked if we needed assistance, offered to notarize documents if necessary, and explained services that could help us without overselling or pushing anything. She was simply present, professional, and kind. On a morning where I had experienced the complete opposite somewhere else, this level of humanity meant more than I can express.
When it came time to complete our transaction, it was seamless and painless. They proactively offered copies of receipts since multiple people were involved, made sure everything was clear, and kept the same warmth the entire time.
If Celeste and Oddy haven’t received a raise recently, they absolutely deserve one. If they have, give them another. Same goes for the manager. This team represents customer service at its absolute peak.
10 out of 10. Unbelievable. If your local Chase branch is operating anywhere below this standard, and let’s be honest that would be hard not to, it might be worth going out of your way to visit this one.
