“2 years walked into Erie Bank open an account. Danielle was extremely nice and friendly. I had informed her walked into Huntington Bank in Mentor and talked with branch manager informed wanted to open bank account. She was busy and asked the other assistant and she blew me off. So branch manager took me to counter speak with another person who could open the account. Well he said we are closing in five minutes I can schedule you for next day. I said sure and knew very well was not going to ever step foot into Huntington ever again.
I was treated so awesome at Eire Bank. Danielle took her time, opened up the account and explained in detail of each account that would best for me. She and I talked and just we were friends for a very long time.
Each time I go into the bank I am greeted by everyone and Danielle always says hello to me every time by my first name and this was two years ago I opened up the account. I go in to bank every two or three months to get money or move money around and always been given great advice.
Agents that answer the phone are very courteous always. Anytime I have a question they are able to answer the question and help me or explain how to do this or that and I am one happy customer and always refer everyone to Erie Bank in Mentor.”

“I’m in the process of buying a new car and I had to get a cashiers check? I didn’t even know what that was, and it was for a lot of money so I was a little nervous from the get go. On top of that, I lost my debit card, I had checks that needed to be deposited, money transferred from one account to another… I was prepared to be there for awhile. Payton helped me out and made the experience not only super smooth, but super fast too! I was in and out in less than 15 minutes, and I didn’t even have to wait for the new card to come in the mail.. Everyone was very friendly and the free candy iced the cake!!!”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Stars Isn’t Enough. This Chase Branch Is on Another Level
From the literal second I crossed the threshold of the door, I was greeted by not one but TWO of the most attentive, upbeat, genuinely kind tellers I’ve ever encountered: Celeste and Oddy (ODDY). And when I say greeted, I mean it felt like a friendly competition of generosity. Before I could even fully step inside, they were asking if I needed help. It was impressive. It was coordinated. It was almost Olympic-level hospitality.
When I mentioned I’d be waiting a few minutes for the people I was meeting, they immediately offered coffee. Not just “there’s coffee over there,” they asked if I wanted some. Then they asked if I wanted cream. Then they made sure everything was just right. I’m not even kidding when I say I don’t usually tip at Starbucks, but I almost wanted to tip these bank tellers. It was that next level.
At one point, one of the coffee cups had the tiniest drip, and before it even had time to think about hitting the floor, another employee swooped in with napkins like it was a perfectly rehearsed Broadway performance. It honestly felt orchestrated. The teamwork. The awareness. The care. Unreal.
Then the manager, whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch but who deserves a huge shout out, came over personally to check on us while we waited. She asked if we needed assistance, offered to notarize documents if necessary, and explained services that could help us without overselling or pushing anything. She was simply present, professional, and kind. On a morning where I had experienced the complete opposite somewhere else, this level of humanity meant more than I can express.
When it came time to complete our transaction, it was seamless and painless. They proactively offered copies of receipts since multiple people were involved, made sure everything was clear, and kept the same warmth the entire time.
If Celeste and Oddy haven’t received a raise recently, they absolutely deserve one. If they have, give them another. Same goes for the manager. This team represents customer service at its absolute peak.
10 out of 10. Unbelievable. If your local Chase branch is operating anywhere below this standard, and let’s be honest that would be hard not to, it might be worth going out of your way to visit this one.
