“I had just gotten out of the hospital and I Ubered to the Walmart next-door for prescriptions but then when I was finished, I could not get an Uber back because they’re just aren’t very many drivers in the area. My phone was dying. There are no taxis in the area. Walmart directed me to a taxi company but the phone number listed for them didn’t work. I even called the police because I believed that they were there to protect and serve and they told me they cannot come and get me that’s not what they do. With my phone nearly dead, I am very weak and knowing I was not going to be able to walk a mile and a half back to the truckstop where my truck was parked, I went into the store and begged for a ride. The manager was extremely nice and one of the cashiers took me back to my truck. I don’t want to name her publicly but I know she is also struggling living in a hotel with her family. So to do such a nice thing for a complete stranger I wish I could’ve done more for her. Great people!”

“??✅Clean, reliable, and trucker-approved. This Pilot is one of the better ones spotless, well-organized, and everything works like it should. The showers deserve special respect: very spacious, super clean, with great water pressure and plenty of room to breathe and relax. You can tell the place is taken care of. Staff was friendly, the vibe was calm, and it just felt right after a long day behind the wheel. Solid stop, I’ll definitely be coming back. Props to whoever maintains the showers y’all nailed it.”

“Love to stop here after work for chicken to go. It's the best in town. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and not loaded with salt. One of my favorite stops for good food to go.”

“That man Brenden in the shop did I great job repairing and making sure everything was straight with the truck. Nobody had the part I needed. He Managed to repair the part that was already on the truck saved me a lot of time.”
The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.

Read the postLove's Travel Stops is rolling out a new system that turns work into a game for its restaurant employees. Picture this: Three big screens in each restaurant, tracking how fast workers greet customers, take orders, and hand out food. It's not just for show - early results say it's making service 11 seconds faster on average. "These monitors track key performance metrics in real-time, such as greet times, order processing times and the time it takes for food handoff," Love's explains. The system creates a more interactive environment, fostering friendly competition between stores.
