3525 Maysville Pike, ZanesvillePeanut was extremely sick. The day before she was sick she was extremely happy and healthy and within hours she deteriorated. I called vets for help. Explained she was dying and needed to get her in ASAP. Everyone wanted me to wait hours to get her in. Not them. They told me to bring her now. We get there and they where so kind and caring. Put us in room. Told us what we knew. They were gentle. They gave us time with her. They helped her to go to rainbow heaven. My family is grateful for them and helping peanut. Thank you.

Had a nice little bar area with lots of drinks! The pizza was delicious! Plenty of options besides pizza! I finally got a good size cheesecake! It was amazing! The cookie was nice and hot and melted the ice cream! Sooooo good! I didn't want the chocolate drizzle and whipped cream on my cookie because I had plenty with my cheesecake! Place was kinda loud but its a bar and should be expected! Which usually means folks are enjoying them selves. I enjoyed just sitting back and enjoying my meal! People were working very well together! Orders were coming in and going out just as quick! Wood fire pizza, cheesecake, alcohol, TV's, and some music, and smiling faces! Loved this place! Great job and great vibes!

Only 2 negative things are that lo mein needs tp have better flavor. When the original owners ran it you could make a meal out of the egg rolls. They were nearly burrito sized and tasted amazing. Now not so much. They do have the best tasting Chinese food in Muskingum County though. Perry County best Chinese food is Chengs on Broadway in New Lexington. Fairfield County best Chinese food is Great Wall Chinese Food on Main Street in Lancaster.

Animal Shelter Society
1430 Newark Rd, ZanesvilleI won't go below 4 stars, as it's an animal shelter, but I am very disappointed with a friend's adoption attempt. I understand last week was a holiday, but they were also closed on Tuesday, when I called, as the person who would take the animal if something happened to my friends. I called back Wednesday to find out they were closing in about fifteen minutes at noon. I understand and support taking a long weekend for the holiday, but maybe work your usual off day during the week to cover it. My friends didn't find out the dog had been adopted elsewhere until my friend followed up on Monday afternoon. She waited the entire holiday long weekend only to have to follow up herself and get bad news. As a society I think we have gone past the point of sanity with adopting animals. It is literally easier to foster a child than adopt a dog. I understand getting them to a good home, but making sure they only go to the *perfect* home, leaves a lot of dogs in shelters and people without dogs. My friends are AMAZING human beings who treat their animals better than anyone I know, except maybe me. Any checklist which excludes them is fundamentally and inexcusably flawed.
