“Hope it's more popular now. My memory of it back in the 90s when it had a different name was products did not move. Some were dusty, and the Reese's cups were stale. Very convenient location when we lived on Avalon Drive in Madison though.”

“I ordered a special cake for our grandson and the ladies at Giant Eagle in Chardon were awesome. I had a picture of a Paw Patrol cake that he wanted and they drew it up and when I picked up the cake, I was so happy. Our grandson loved his cake and was so excited. It looked amazing and tasted just as good. Awesome job ladies”
“Dollar General Concord is truly one of the best Dollar General stores out there! They are lucky to be in a larger than normal footprint, with wider aisles and a more relaxed, better shopping experience. Great employees complete the mix.”

“Beverly in the hot/prepared foods department. You are an absolute lifesaver and such a pleasure to speak with over the phone and in person. I needed quick food in less than 24 hours notice and she made it happen. The food was amazing and ready as requested. But back to Beverly being so pleasant. In a day like today. It is so wonderful to have such friendly customer service. She did not hesitate and was completely willing to fulfill my order. “IGA always has the best meat prices I've ever seen at a mom and pop type of grocery store. But today they were pretty much out of hamburger meat because they had such an awesome sale on it. Picked up lunch meat. Got a half a pound of pepperoni sandwich pepperoni for about $4. I will say pretty much anything else like cookies, chips, soda, diapers, soup. Any kind of condiments are going to be expensive. At least 2 to $3 more than your Walmart, even dollar general. But they get local farmed veggies at a decent price. And they have a ton of homemade take home meal options as well. Some of my favorites are the stuffed peppers and it comes with a red sauce and mashed potatoes and I like their fried cabbage and noodles which is a decent price at like 4 bucks for like three servings like decent servings. And last week I got some boar's Head fixed place bacon for $3 and it was amazing. I do recommend IGA for local veggies meats, lunch meat that sort of thing, but if you're trying to go grocery shopping it can get a little expensive. The staff is always amazing and super helpful with whatever you may need and I really do love my local IGA.”

I can't wear the regular throw away masks.I'm allergic to the material that they are made of, when I informed the manager of this he asked for proof! “A good place for authentic Hispanic items. It has all the basic stuff like beans and peppers. La Hispana is also good for getting hard to find things. Fresher than at most groceries. The prices are better here. Basic stuff along with more exotic foods. It has a lot of canned foods like beans as you can imagine. They also have fresher made stuff like salsa and tamales. It doesn't cost that much for the freshness. The salsa is about $2 for a container, and the tamales are about the same. Also they have lots of authentic candy. They have an almond brittle that is crunchy and sweet. It can be hard to find. It's located on State Street where it splits near the trans and it's easy to miss. This is worth finding though.”

“Am so glad we finally have a Discount Drug Mart near us and we don't have to go to Chesterland (or the gross Mentor location, ugh)! Good prices and plenty of selection without having to traipse through a bigger store. Plus the pharmacists are super helpful and friendly here!”

“We stopped to grab a Diet Coke and hopefully use the restroom and had the unexpected pleasure of experiencing the feeling of an old-time small-town general store tucked into the packaging of a modern convenience mart. Bitcoin atm, snacks, alcohol, gracious service, and a clean restroom-- This little place gets an easy five stars. Gasoline and lottery and smoking stuff too. Probably a huge list of things I can't even imagine... (And an endearing hand lettered sign in the restroom: If You Go #2 CLEAN UP After Yourself! Thank You! Mrs. K!)”

“My husband and I shop there on occasion .I like the variety of selections and you can usually find something.From sandwiches and soups and sushi.Their fried chicken is very good as well as the sushi.I also really like their boneless garlic parmesan wings.It is very good and convenient.You can even satisfy your sweet tooth with the variety of deserts.”
“We absolutely LOVE the Artisian Multigrain Bread that is baked in the bakery. We go through a loaf a week. It IS pricey, but it helps so much with a medical condition it is WELL worth it! I hope they never stop baking it!”

“This is my favorite Walmart'. It is clean, organized, and has large spacious isles. They have a good selection of items and their inventory is relatively consistent. This place is light years better than the crappy Mentor store and way more organized than Chardon. I wish they would improve their produce and I would give them 5 stars. This Walmart is definitely more affordable than Target or giant Eagle.”
