    “I want to give a special shout-out to Nate at the Dollar General on Oregon Road in Perrysburg! I’ve been in this store twice within the last couple of weeks, and both times Nate has been incredibly kind, friendly, patient, and helpful. On my most recent visit, I was looking for a particular item that I couldn’t find. Nate didn’t just point me in a direction—he actually took the time to walk through a couple of aisles with me to help look for it. When we still couldn’t find it, he even checked with his manager to see if they carried it. Although they ended up not having the item, I really appreciated how much effort he put into helping me. It’s not often you come across someone in customer service who is consistently this friendly and willing to go the extra mile. Both times I’ve been there, Nate has made my visit a pleasant one. Dollar General is very lucky to have him. Thank you, Nate, for providing such wonderful customer service!”

    “I placed an order for a small cake online for my girlfriends birthday. I wanted the cake to be Shrek theme, so I made it as best as I could online. When I went to pick it up, I was blown away that the person decorating the cake took it upon themselves to make it even more shrekified, putting characters on the side and just making the cake look way better than I ever could imagine. It made me and my girlfriend just smile and it was a great looking cake, and tasted good to. Very happy with how it turned out. Will be coming back anytime we need a cake!”

This location seems bigger than my location but I think it's due in part to the layout.My favorite thing about this location is that a staff member is easy to locate if you need help locating an item.”

    “This is the closest grocery store to me. Parking is typically not bad unless you go during a busy time. After work, Fridays-Sundays seem to always be busy. I usually can find everything I need and almost always have a coupon. The only problem I've ever really had here is people are in such a hurry they rush you at self checkout. Now this Kroger has a pretty good amount of checkout for fewer items then another 3-4 lanes for larger items. You are having to scan and bag everything. I don't mind at all but I don't like when people start scanning stuff while you are trying to bag, it's rude. Please be kind and wait your turn. I try my best to go when it's not busy.”

    “The best experience at the little clinic, they got me taken care of within 20 minutes for a Strep test. Carolyn the pharmacy tech is amazing!!! i'll never go to urgent care again. The lady at the little clinic was so fast and efficient, i've never had better patient pharmacy care all in one. Amazing!”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
