“There was a lady postal officer at closing around 2 pm on Saturday, September 7, 2024, who is such a lovely human being. There were a lot of angry people that day, but she did a wonderful job with de-escalating them and making them feel heard. One lady was griping about another postal officer, while another man pounded on the door demanding to be let in after 2:00 p.m., and who threatened another customer who asked him to be quiet for her daughter's sake. With each of these instances, she just did such a nice job calming everyone and treating each with respect. She deserves a raise. The post office closed at about 2:00 p.m., but she was there close to 2:30 helping everyone who was in the post office prior to closing to get their stuff done. People like this are rare in today's world. You're lucky to have her as an employee.”
“I come here to do all of my USPS errands. The people who work at this branch of the USPS are extremely friendly and willing to help. They have even let me use their packaging tape on occasion, no charge. I don't think this office deserves the low rating it has, as my experience here has always been overwhelmingly positive.”
“A young lady named Rey helped me yesterday. It was packed in the post office and when I tell you I observed Rey smile at every customer she greeted I mean every customer! It was beautiful! There were 2 people working and they both were doing a good job of customer service. I like going to this branch because there’s always plenty of parking.”

“I’m embarrassed I don’t know her name. She’s been so nice to me over the years. Often doing extra little things I know she doesn’t have to.To the folks complaining… you should only know what it was like when the battle-axe that was there before her commanded the “shop”. Now that was dreadful. But with the workload, and the nutty customers with ridiculous demands, I guess I could understand her vitriol.However, the day that (I promise I will learn her name) took over, life in Clifton Gaslight improved 100%!I watch, and know that running that post office by oneself is a daunting job. I for one would rather put up with “mail lady” number 1. than lose our Neighborhood post office. But since mail lady 2 took over, quite a few years ago, our post office is nothing but a lovely addition to Ludlow Ave. I’d miss her terribly were she to go.”
“4515 Allison St. I really like this post office. The only downside is some of the customers take forever to get a request completed. The lady employee I've seen twice now is extremely professional and knowledgeable about her job! Made it easier for me! Thanks USPS for helping our things reach their destinations!”

This never happens at other post office locations I have tried to call. My question was answered quickly and efficiently. In the future, I will use this post office location exclusively. Thank you!”

“Our regular carrier is the best. Always prompt and very professional. The problem we have is when the regular carrier is off for any reason. Then the service is not very good. Some days not receiving mail at all. June 19th and 20th no delivery at all.”
“This post office has been my go-to in Hamilton- I’m almost always in and out quickly without any issues, even during the holidays when they were slammed; they were able to operate quick and efficiently. I ship quite a bit, and just realized I don’t know my favorite employee’s name for this location ? but he’s always pleasant and in a good mood even after dealing with difficult customers. The girl that works the counter extremely occasionally (usually Saturday), & the other 2 guys that sometimes work the counter are all great also.”

“I typically show up to this post office on a weekday around 4:30pm. The staff who I have interacted with have been *very* friendly and helpful—even anticipating my needs and questions before I ask them. I’m sad to see that other reviewers did not have this same experience.”

“Sorry to see so many bad reviews, I can understand why because I saw a few customers get very frustrated with the employees. Some even yelled, which was quite disturbing. The employees handled it well and just walked away from them. But these days scary things are happening and I guess going off-peak hours is best. Anyways, our experience with the passport service was easy because we had an appointment and our paperwork was completed beforehand. Have a nice day.”
“I was a little nervous coming because I'd never shipped a package before. The lovely gentleman at the counter was very kind and patient, explained to me all my options I had for shipping my packages, and helped me try to get the lowest price I could! He was very sweet and made my anxiety about going to the post office go away completely! Very nice staff and place!!”

“SHOUT OUT TO TONY!! ??? Tony was so freakin’ kind, caring, & helpful to me both times I came in. It was busy as heck today & he still went out of his way for me & for a few other customers in the store to make sure everyone had what they needed. He was a multi-tasking King!! Any customer-facing position can be tough, but I have to imagine the post office is especially so when it’s busy & the line is 15+ people long (half full of impatient, angry people).
