“They have the cheapest vapes around this area I've found but a small selection they have three different kinds lost Mary, geek bar for 13 - 16 dollars and the Swft vaps for 3 dollars when I was there 2 days ago May 2025.”

“ALDI is all about efficiency and savings. Most notably, their produce is usually excellent. Their prices are often comfortably below other competitors in town. When I was growing up, ALDI had the reputation of having minimal name brand products, but this is not the case! While they have many generic options, they have well-known brands as well.”

“The Kroger Fuel Center is located right off of East State Street, which is one of the primary commercial corridors in the city. The gas station is accessible to get into and out of quickly, since there is a stop light next to it that allows cars in and out without worrying about risky left turns. Since the station is next to Kroger, guests can also do their grocery shopping and fuel up in the same trip.”

“Been shopping here for over 2 years now. Hands down best place in Athens (outside of the Farmer’s Market) to buy fresh, local beef, pork, chicken, lamb, etc. Some things can be priced a little higher than the big chains, but in today’s climate, I don’t notice much difference. I’m happy to pay a little more for quality meat that isn’t spoiled once I get it home.”
“The employees at this location are AWESOME. I always have excellent service here. They go over and beyond to make sure you find what you need. I’ve had to ask for certain things and have been escorted to the product with a smile. Shasta waited on me at check out today. I needed change. She rang me up 3 different times to ensure I had the lower bills I needed for the Old Settlers Reunion.”

“A small but very well stocked grocery store! Has everything you need including a pharmacy. Very helpful and friendly staff. Customer service counter has many different services including lottery and check cashing among other services. Plenty of parking as well. Easy in and out access from State Route 13! Highly recommend this grocery store if you’re in the Glouster, Trimble, Jacksonville area!”
“Usually have whatever I’m looking for. One complaint is they are never adequately staffed! One person cannot bring merchandise from stockroom to sales floor, stock shelves, maintain displays, prevent shoplifting and man the cash register at the same time. Surely a company with such high profit margin can afford to have at least 2 employees for each shift.”

“There are a lot of products to choose from. Definitely the best shop for almost anything you forgot on your grocery list or your bbq. 4 stars because the aisles are very small and hard for more than 1 person to navigate thru them. It definitely makes me feel like I have to hurry and not take my time.”

“Small but mighty Kroger in our little city does a great job keeping items in stock that we use. We were accustomed to a large Kroger Marketplace before moving here, but have been pleasantly surprised at the availability of items we were used to purchasing. With the international population of Athens, I think they have a nice selection of international seasonings, herbs, and sauces to accommodate a melting pot like Athens.”
“You can’t have a plastic bag but they sell items in plastic containers. You can put your produce in little plastic bags in the produce section. The meat is wrapped in plastic. But I must check out with a paper bag. ”

When I asked where the item I was looking for was he took me right to where it was. Very pleasant young man! You are lucky to have such an employee.”
