“Stopped into The Plains store today about 5pm. Dom I think his name was is a very good employee. He said hello when I entered with a smile on his face. When I asked where the item I was looking for was he took me right to where it was. Very pleasant young man! You are lucky to have such an employee.”
“I visited today and to be fair, I was wearing a long anime jacket and flower backpack at the spice jar section for a while. I was having difficultly understanding the amounts even with the instructions on the sign and felt slightly embarrassed to ask for more help/like I was doing it wrong. I have memory issues. I had multiple secret shoppers following me around which is totally fine, like I get it . College students likely steal from there all the time. So loss prevention has to do their job.
It did give me pretty bad anxiety when all 3 mean came to chat while I was checking out?
Some local places have to be expensive and I understand that, it costs a lot of money to import products like they do. On the other hand, if you know what to buy from there it’s super cheap!!
I do love kindred market and if I won a thousand, million, billion, dollars x3 I would buy from there everyday. I love kindred. Next time I come I will wear different clothing/leave backpack at the front of the store.”
“I have never come into this store and not left smiling like an idiot like I left with a bag of treasure. The couple who run it are running it are so adorable, the wife is so CUTE and the husband is so adorable- you walk in and one of them immediately asks you if need help finding anything. Their stock? OMG, I love it all so much.. the spices, the grains and so much more- So affordable! And such nice quality and the best in town!
I go out of my way to tell people about them because they're such lovely people and deserve all the word of mouth they get.

“ALDI is all about efficiency and savings. Most notably, their produce is usually excellent. Their prices are often comfortably below other competitors in town. When I was growing up, ALDI had the reputation of having minimal name brand products, but this is not the case! While they have many generic options, they have well-known brands as well.”
“Busy Day is one of those places you end up going way more than you expect. It’s super convenient, especially late at night, and they almost always have what you need. The staff has always been friendly in my experience, and it’s just a solid, reliable spot when you don’t feel like going to a big store. Nothing fancy, but it does exactly what you need it to.”
“Love this store! my friends and I love coming here to get stuff to make meals and they have all kinds of teas and things you cant find anywhere else in athens without driving hours to get it! Lovely owners and always have a great selection of frozen food, treats and banchan! (if I remember correctly)”

“The Kroger Fuel Center is located right off of East State Street, which is one of the primary commercial corridors in the city. The gas station is accessible to get into and out of quickly, since there is a stop light next to it that allows cars in and out without worrying about risky left turns. Since the station is next to Kroger, guests can also do their grocery shopping and fuel up in the same trip.”

“The employees at this location are AWESOME. I always have excellent service here. They go over and beyond to make sure you find what you need. I’ve had to ask for certain things and have been escorted to the product with a smile. Shasta waited on me at check out today. I needed change. She rang me up 3 different times to ensure I had the lower bills I needed for the Old Settlers Reunion.”
“Really love this DG! The store manager is amazing so friendly and real cares about her customers! Only negative thing I would say is the parking lot eats my car alive! Needs repaved”

“A small but very well stocked grocery store! Has everything you need including a pharmacy. Very helpful and friendly staff. Customer service counter has many different services including lottery and check cashing among other services. Plenty of parking as well. Easy in and out access from State Route 13! Highly recommend this grocery store if you’re in the Glouster, Trimble, Jacksonville area!”

“Usually have whatever I’m looking for. One complaint is they are never adequately staffed! One person cannot bring merchandise from stockroom to sales floor, stock shelves, maintain displays, prevent shoplifting and man the cash register at the same time. Surely a company with such high profit margin can afford to have at least 2 employees for each shift.”
“There are a lot of products to choose from. Definitely the best shop for almost anything you forgot on your grocery list or your bbq. 4 stars because the aisles are very small and hard for more than 1 person to navigate thru them. It definitely makes me feel like I have to hurry and not take my time.”

“I shop at Walmart quite often. However, the shopping experience is diminished by the canned music, and PLEASE get rid of the fake Walmart Radio! It makes me want to get in and out without taking time to browse. Sometimes there is blessed peace and quiet in the morning but then that is destroyed when the loud speakers come on....”

“Grocery go-to. I love kroger deals and couponing. I see the savings at the end of my trip and feel a rush. A comfortable and pleasurable place to shop. Love to see the fun clearance cheeses and also take a look at the clearance bake section. Reasonable prices, can find pretty much anything you need. Plus they have starburst c4.”

“They have the cheapest vapes around this area I've found but a small selection they have three different kinds lost Mary, geek bar for 13 - 16 dollars and the Swft vaps for 3 dollars when I was there 2 days ago May 2025.”
