And then happily gave a few samples for me before leaving. I didn't feel rushed, or like all the different scents I wanted to smell was overwhelming her. Will come back to buy just from her”

“Really great store and everything is nicely on the shelf so everything is easy to find. I bought a lot of Easter items and they were really great decorations and in decent condition. I also bought some collectibles for my brother because he’s an anime fan, and usually many store don’t have these kind of items so when I got them for him he had a big smile on his face. I’d recommend shopping here because of the many things they have to offer and because of how great the staff is.”
“Ample parking. Staff has always been friendly. A varied selection of staples, liquor, housewares, but it's always hit or miss as far as selection. Sometimes prices are a lot lower, but I have found some things that are more expensive.”
“Everyone at this Dollar General and most of the Dollar Generals in my area are nice Emily is the manager at the one on airport close to Westwood she's always very pleasant all of her employees as well Pleasant and make you feel welcome when you coming to the store Emily is a fantastic manager but this store has always had great managers”

“The Coast Guard exchange is a real nice location for veterans in the Toledo Ohio area to shop. Located on the Maumee river at the edge of Lake Erie. Across the inlet from the ole Navy and Marine Corp center. The staff are and have been (for a long time) extremely friendly. There is plenty of booze and smokes at real good prices. A few choice Coast Guard items too. Retired STG2 US Navy Russ W.”

“We bought a riding mower at the Tractor Supply on Central Ave on 6/8/24. Jean helped us check out and she was wonderful. Very thorough. Jean made sure that we knew about the extended warranty option. She even checked our neighbor rewards and found that we had a free same-day delivery option which saved us a ton of time and hassle. All in all, it was a great buying experience.”
“Trendy store. Lots of goodies for the teens and up(20,30,40's). I went to look for a pair of house slippers since I needed a pair for an overnight trip. Found a pair of lavender slippers that fit the bill. Try them out no matter your age. Lots of African American Inspired tshirts. Loved the designs.”
“I was at WalMart on Central Ave. I have COPD and it's hard on my lungs to wander aimlessly. I found a salesclerk on the floor and I asked her to point me the direction of lady's sweat pants. She immediately stopped what she was doing and walked me there. When I saw there were no red ones she walked me to another area. She was young and pretty and so altruistic. It's refreshing to see professionalism through courtesy anymore. I've gone through so much surly, insolent workers that it's still so rare to be treated so kindly. Her name is Kierra, and she deserves a shout out and I want to tell the corporate office of their valuable asset they have when they hired her. Thanks again, Kierra!”
“Other than the long lines at the registers and some of the products Walmart carries; they no longer carry. A few examples: (La Choy Sweet & Sour, Woman owned Eggrolls & Ballpark 100% Fatfree turkey hotdogs.) Many more things are not available at Walmart anymore that were still very popular.”
“They get busy but that's just how it is when the neighborhood is a food desert (google that). They can get understocked, but that's on the company. But management and the employees are calm and collected, and are wonderful to those of us that can be a pain sometimes. They have no problem double bagging for those like me who walk there, they do everything in their power to keep crime out of the store, and do everything they can to accommodate those who do business with them. “This store has changed night and day. Before the floors looked bad, no baskets and carts. No consistency! Now there are people there, open normal business hours. Shelves looking better.”
“Walmart has been in the past, is now, and will continue to be one of my favorite stores whether in Toledo or in Fremont Ohio. They have a lot of my favorites that I like to buy in the store whether it's my morning breakfast bowls or my salads or my bagels. Honestly the prices in Walmarts are much cheaper than other stores particularly like Krogers. I'm not trying to knock Kroger's it's also a good store and they have a few things I like to get there. I know that the Walmarts in Fremont have more individual cashiers where you can go through the line instead of the self-checkout, as opposed to Toledo's Walmart on Glendale Avenue where it's mostly long lines for people waiting to go through the self-checkout, the Walmarts in Fremont the employees there are so much nicer and more helpful and they have readers there that I've come to know”

“They have an amazing selection, but it was SO cluttered, to the point where I sometimes was too overwhelmed to bother. If someone was in an aisle, no one else could go there. In some areas, stock was piled and spilling off of shelves. Associates were desperately trying to keep up with it. Again, I LOVED what they had, but there was even valentines merch here and there, even though they were drowning in Christmas merch. Slow down, Homegoods!”
