“Great customer service for an international piping supplier. Most international suppliers don't seem to want to deal with customer service. They just want that big money, coming from larger business, that are going to make bigger purchases, for larger jobs. Buy they forget that those big business where at one point a small business as well. And the guys that are sent in there to do the purchases for these smaller companies may one day be the owner of one of the larger businesses or the parts guy that dose the ordering.... surely you get my drift by now. “I always get excellent service in that location, but yesterday Big Al in paints was especially helpful. That's one area where my wife and I aren't too knowledgeable, and Al really took the time to help us understand what we need for a couple of different projects we have going on. Got us what we needed and didn't try to upsell what we didn't need.”
“Wow, greeted upon arrival. We went in looking for a small kids picnic table as we saw online for a holiday gift. After looking around we couldn't locate it. Ask a few ppl turns out they were up in the rafters and needed to get it down for us. They couldn't have been more happy to do it for us. Even the Manager took us up to the checkout to make sure we were taken care. I got better service here then I have at some restaurants in Chicago! Thank you Home Depot staff when we're back in town we will make sure to stop here for our needs!”

Jean made sure that we knew about the extended warranty option. She even checked our neighbor rewards and found that we had a free same-day delivery option which saved us a ton of time and hassle. I'm leaving the below in because there was a level of frustration on how this happened and hope it doesn't happen to anyone else. This is a mobile app or online order issue. YOU MUST SELECT DELIVERY FOR EVERY ITEM INDIVIDUALLY. I did not know this. I cancelled my order and then did a redo and my delivery is scheduled for ALL items.
Original issue:
Not sure what happened. Placed order using mobile app for delivery. However, got text saying ready for pickup. App shows ready for pickup for all items but one item for delivery. Called store and told that's odd and she did say everything would be delivered but then another text saying ready for pickup. I cancelled everything. I'm at work and could not go in. I'll go in tomorrow and discuss with management what happened and maybe get back on track. 3 star is just a marker for now because I prefer Lowe's and this order failed miserablely. I paid for deli of all items so not sure what happened.”

“I went to another large home improvement store looking for door and window molding. I knew what I was looking for - the most common trim used in older homes. I spent 20 minutes in the molding section and left with nothing. It was difficult to even determine what they had because of the lack of organization and labeling. THEN I WENT TO LOWES! ? The molding section was neatly organized with similar slots as the other place, but everything was in its place, from narrower widths to wider. The labels were on every slot with small drawings and photos of the items and the dimensions in clear, large type. Bravo!”
