“I live in NW Ohio and received an email about a ‘flash’ oil change discount. Unfortunately I was on a business trip to SW Ohio. But I decided to take advantage of the promotion and went to the Goodyear Service Center in West Chester Ohio. Everything went smooth until I went to pay the bill. It was nearly $20 more than my online appointment estimate. When I brought this to the attention of my Service Advisor, Brian Vonderhaar, not only was he surprised, but he took the next 15 minutes to identify the discrepancy in the Goodyear system and we ended at the final cost I anticipated. Just wanted to recognize Brian for his efforts - above my expectations - to satisfy an out of town, new customer. Thank you, again. Brian!”

However, the owner is an honest and fair man. I feel bad for the review i left. He is a man of his word and stood behind his shop. I can’t say anything bad about this shop. It sat at one shop for 2 months and they tried everything they said. Finally came across Springdale Automotive they came pick up my truck and had it ready the next week. Everything went smooth. “I own a car dealership and one of my customers took my car here for a pre purchase inspection. Keep in mind we inspect all our cars mechanically and fix any issues. Most shops will then proceed to make up a 2k bill saying things need replaced when they don't and it makes me look bad when in reality they are the shady ones. However this place came to the same conclusion we did and didn't try to make things up and lie which is unusual in the industry. Mr. Mechanic seems to be an honest place to do business.”

“I brought a wheel in that had a slow leak. The wheel came with the car and the tires were mounted at a different shop. They patched and re-balanced the wheel. No charge, I was dumbfounded. The gentleman just asked me to come back for a quote next time I'm looking for tires. I certainly will. This wheel has been great ever since. I've used Bob Sumerel on several occasions. For price and service on wheels and tires, they can't be beat. Prices for basic service like oil changes are incredibly competitive too. All the Bob Sumerel stores I've been too have been well managed too, service is always prompt and professional. I will not hesitate to return.”

“I've used Foreign Exchange in the past and was very satisfied, so I thought I would bring my Lotus in even though they aren't Lotus specialists, and it is a bit of an unusual car. They went above and beyond to figure out why the car was pulling to the right. Turns out there was a shim in the wrong spot, likely from a previous alignment error by someone else. I don't know how long it took them to figure out that problem, but they only charged me the standard price for an alignment. With that straightened out and the new tires on it the car is now dialed in perfectly. They know what they are doing and they really seem to love cars. They clearly wanted to get it right, and they did. I won't bring my cars to anyone else.February 2024:A little update, I seem to like bringing challenges to this shop. My kid and I thought we would change out the original 25 year old suspension on our Audi TT with some nice performance coilovers as a father/son project. The internet said it was easy as cake. 3 days later and we had done more damage than good. I had the car towed over to FE, told them what we where trying to do, and gave them a huge box of parts they had never seen before. A few days later they call me up to take a look and let them know how I like the height of the car. I chatted with Clifton, who was one of the techs working on the car. He told me about everything they did and everyone they talked to about how to best set up the this car with an adjustable suspension. The car now looks great, drives great, and is much better prepared for the Autocross we will be throwing at it. I am always amazed at how much care and knowledge everyone at FE puts into their work.
