“I haven't seen this type of store since I left Detroit, Michigan. Definitely will be coming back again. You can refurbish your home with furniture and cooking utensils even get some more clothing. LOVE IT!”
“This DT was chock full of Fall and Halloween decorations and crafts! I went to several different DT stores and this store was by far the best. Staff is very pleasant and greeted me as soon as they saw me and when I entered the store.
My goal was to get all the supplies to make a haunted house and I left with everything I needed. Super happy.
Store was clean. Easy parking close to store. 5 stars from me!!!”
“Shout out to Dollar Tree in Westerville, and the Associate, Ms. Ashley who assisted Me. Outstanding customer service when I walked in, and when I left the store. In addition, this store at 5990 Westerville Road had stocked items, a variety of things I can't find in other stores. For instance, My vitamins; more than enough, My hair products, scarfs, food items in the freezer. Just very well stocked. Highly recommend and definitely will be back! Ohhh and the store is CLEAN!!!”
“Horrible cashier experience today 1/12/26 from Nasty old white lady who refused to sell me gloves, that I was trying to purchase for a student because they rang up for a penny. She treated me and my husband like we made it ring up wrong. The gloves were hanging on wall and I was told in order to buy them “I” had to find a pair that rang up correctly. Cashier was extremely rude and argumentative and continued yelling stuff at us as we exited the store .Myself, husband and other Independence staff can take our multiple days a week shopping elsewhere instead of being treated like this. This lady has no business working with people!”
“Went there to decorate my house for Christmas and get stocking stuffer stuff and it was kind of picked through but I got a lot of cute stuff for my house and a star for my new tree! Definitely recommend if you're balling on a budget!”
“This is a nice Dollar Tree. They even have a price checker. Please use the price checker instead of taking all your merchandise up to the cashier. She has enough to do then put your merchandise back.”

“This is one of my go to Dollar Tree. Sometimes they’re boxes in the aisles but not this. I was able to find what I needed. I also struck up a conversation with an older gentleman that made my day. It’s good to listen to be with wisdom.”
“Friendly staff and convenient location but store is extremely unorganized and almost always have tons of boxes of product stacked in most of the isles, alot of times you have to move boxes and shimmy yourself into awkward positions to grab something off shelves. Which isn't a surprise that they take awhile to get new merchandise out on shelves so half the time they are understocked although the stuff is sitting right next to you in a unopened box. With that being said maybe they are super understaffed or something I've only seen 3-4 rotating employees for most of this lastbel”

“This is a smaller location. It is easy to get into and out of. Usually well stocked. Usually doesn't have boxes sitting in the aisles. They do have a refrigerated section. The seasonal selection goes quickly. They have the upcoming season out a month or two beforehand. The staff is polite. The prices are now all over the place. 1.25-10.00.”
“Kudos for them to have things so cheap! It's a great being able to go somewhere and only spend a $5 bill and get three items. I buy a lot of my holiday decor there because that way I don't have to store it I can just donate it and buy new next year..”
“Normally, I enjoy going there, but the aisles were so full of merchandise in cases I couldn't get to anything. Worse, I've ever seen it. Definitely need some more employees, but doesn't everyone!”
“For as poorly this company seems to treat them, the employees here are incredibly nice and helpful and all 4 stars are for them. I once went in there when it was at least 85 degrees outside and the ac wasn’t working, yet the cashier was so kind and bubbly. That being said, they clearly need to schedule more people at a time.”
“I have a DG on parsons, one on s high, I live on Groveport /parsons rds. I pass them by to come here coz they have better selection, more of product on shelves, and usually pretty much unpacked and stocked. O, and so far I haven't not been able to use a cart. Thanks DG for making part of my life easier.”
“Usually fully stocked with the items I need. Speeding & friendly check outs. Just for the records this store should CHANGE their name from dollar tree to 1.25 & UP TREE as there is no longer anything for a $1.00 @ any of this specific stores & has not had a $1.00 merchandise is a long while.”
“This store used to be a mess and I couldn't stand to go in there because of the incompetence of the employees in the absolute ridiculous things that went on in that store that I'm not even going to go into. I I swore after the last time that I would never go back but I went in the other night and I was so pleasantly surprised! From what I can tell they have hired new employees who are super friendly and always willing to help. The store itself was very clean and put together very nicely. It was not perfect but you can tell the new employees take pride in the store and making it look presentable for the customers. A major Improvement and I will definitely be back to shop. Great job you guys! I highly recommend this location”
“As soon as I walked in a middle aged lady named Sherry greeted me with the most pleasant smile. I brought up 4 binders and right away she noticed one was dirty. She sprayed it and cleaned it and said I apologize i can't have it walk out with a dirty binder. She went above and beyond to satisfy and while it wasn't a problem I truly appreciate her and her service.”
“Great location. The store is large. They have seasonal section up front. There is an aisle for the $5 above items. The store was clean and mostly well stocked. The staff was polite. The craft section is pretty good.”
“it's a good place if you don't want to spend a lot of money on simple household items. ie.( suction soap dish, envelopes, plastic cooking utensils , candy , toys, cards for all occasions). Yes, it is cheap quality. Don't expect any of their items to last very long.”

“Pros:- There some not a bad things that you can buy there for a dollar ( like soap, laundry detergent etc). And others.- Some cashiers are friendly and helpful ( especially Aaron).Cons:- Be careful with food especially meat stuff ! Check expiration dates.Recently bought couple sausages, felt bad after eating and tried to return second one. They don't accept returns for food stuff ( for example, Kroger does).- Sometimes it is hard to find something ( ask cashiers).Ps. I'm not so picky customer and don't compare DG with Kroger or Target. Of course, for shopping better to go to target or Kroger, but to survive - DG is ok”
“I popped in for a quick purchase and ended up spending longer than I anticipated,it wasn't the worst thing though. I felt terrible for the csa bc he was dealing with a challenging customer on the sales floor. I work retail also. I understood that it was better to extend grace.”

“Store sometimes has skids of product out that aren't put away that can make it look cluttered. Aisles are narrow so it can make checking lower shelves difficult for a taller person. Check out is typically pretty fast. Good location for walking if you live in a nearby neighborhood.”
“Let's talk about Frederick! I'm not from here I got a door dash order and didn't know where anything was. I walked up and asked if he worked here he said yes I said I need help please. When I tell you I shopped for my order and was done in less than 5 minutes because of him. Very helpful kind and polite!! Give him a raise or promotion please”
“As expected, a 'small' store with just about anything you might need. Or as they say...everything except the kitchen sink. Pop, candy, underwear, candles, socks, charcoal, greeting cards, laundry baskets, gift cards, wine, cigarettes, toilet paper, beer...just to name a few. The aisles as normal are tight. Overall, the store is as clean as you would except for a Dollar General. There are several empty shelves. Some are seasonal shelves. while others are everyday items. More supply chain issues...Let's Go Brandon This location is always busy, no matter the day, the time of day or number of cars in the parking lot. No matter we will always come back. They have the best prices on greeting cards, tissue paper and gift bags. All conveniently located around the corner.”
“Wow idk what they finally figured out but after this store was remodeled its made a 360 especially with the employees the young man in there today a Sat, just as happy and nice as can be and he was running 2 registers at once!! Working hard..The store is clean and has alot more variety of things. No more boxes in the middle of the isles..about time I really didn't want this one closing its right across the street lol.
