“Hi, These guys are so freakin Sweet !!! And they even have soft serve homemade ice cream here !! And it was delicious I almost went and got me another cone lol. Not to mention they have a Chicken and fish and many of other things here !! At their food Truck called FRYBIRD Yummmmmm”

“Only downside is no self check out and only one or two registers open at a time. Also some of the cashiers do not have a regards for fragile items. Today I had a cashier just throwing items in the cart as she scanned. She place chips, eggs and cookies in the bottom of the cart and threw bottles of orange juice on top of the fragile items.
She never once apologized or tried to keep order of fragile items. She continued to jus throw items in the cart blindly and with no care. I guess at the least most approved is she placed the bread in the top area of the cart....
She checked out the person behind me with 3 smaller order with care. She probably didnt know that we was together. But I noticed the difference in care and service. Over all the store is clean, well stocked, fresh produce and other items, as well as staff is very helpful and polite on the sales floor. The cashier needs some work and retraining on how to handle peoples food and cart place ment.
Side note: I thanked her throughout the whole process never once did she reply back. Let alone say thank you and/ or have a good day. But she said it to the other party I was with. I can't remember her name but her hair and lips match of a burgundy/ deep purple color.
Other than that I would have given 5 stars and my comment would have been shorter but still pleasant.

Update: Went back again nd pretty much still the same. My cashier was super nice, cautious with items and courteous.”

Okay, so I don’t usually write long reviews, but this one honestly deserves it. My husband is Ethiopian, and for a while, I’d been trying so hard to find a grocery store that actually has authentic Ethiopian meat, spices, and all the things he loves and misses from back home. It took us forever to find a place that really felt right until we came across Dire Dawa Grocery, and now I just have to share it because I know there are people out there struggling to find the same thing.
From the moment we walked in, I could tell this place was special. The smell of the spices, the friendly faces, the shelves full of everything from berbere and shiro to Ethiopian coffee, snacks, and cultural products it honestly felt like stepping straight into a little piece of Ethiopia. My husband’s face lit up as soon as he saw everything.
The meat was super fresh. I bought some for him, and he couldn’t stop talking about how it tasted exactly like the kind he used to get back home. You can tell they really know what they’re doing and take pride in it.
The people who work there are so kind and welcoming, too. They didn’t just sell us stuff they took time to help me find what I needed and even explained some of the spices I wasn’t familiar with. It made me feel really comfortable and connected, even though I’m not Ethiopian myself.

I know this review is long, but honestly, the reason I’m writing all this is because I know there are other people, maybe someone like me, searching for a place that feels real and trustworthy. I just want everyone to know that Dire Dawa Grocery is that place. Whether you’re Ethiopian, married to one, or just love authentic cultural food, you’ll find everything you need here.

“When I switched from CVS to Kroger Pharmacy it has been nothing but pleasant experiences! I never understood how a 24hr pharmacy could lack so much and always slow and seemed to not care as if customers were bothering them when the prescription was due to be ready by a certain time! They wanted you to come back hours later or the next day! Not here at Kroger! They would immediately make it right! They are calm and they also don’t let their emotions show if the customer is aggravated! I’m more than please with my switch! Thank you Kroger”

“Denver - he is an employee here guy and is the only reason I’m giving 5 stars. This review is for him and not the store overall!
Out of all the Walmarts that I have been to the past week, which has been every Walmart within a 35-40 minute drive from the Easton mall area - he is the only person who stopped to actually help us. So many employees avoided us in this store however Denver let us know when the item we were looking for would be in stock and came to find us to let us know when a good time to come would be. He was extremely polite and patient with us and I will forever remember that experience with an employee at Walmart because a lot of them don’t care.
So thank you Denver for being the first Walmart employee in the past week to actually stop and genuinely care. You will forever be a Walmart legend to me. You are amazing!
