“It's a discount store for household/garage/do-it-yourself people. Sure some items are built cheap, but the price is to match. While I've had my fair share of underwhelming products here, surprisingly enough there are some really good products as well. The best way to shop here is to sign up for their coupons, membership and buy during big sales events. Budget friendly, website gives you locations for products, staff is friendly, easy in and out service.”

“Usually don't get my plants at Home Depot, I go to their competitor but everyone needs to go to the Home Depot on Broadway in Edmond. There is a Home Depot employee there named BO that is not only knowledgeable, helpful and kind but he is turning the plant area around. “I love how the associates I encounter at this store take the time to ask me “how are you doing?” or if I need help finding anything. It’s always been easy to find someone to help me when I needed it. And the knowledge base of the employees is incredibly helpful. This is why I won’t go to their competitor stores where most of the employees give off the vibe that they don’t want to be there if you come across any. Additionally, the audio in this store is nice, not annoying like their competitors.”

“Veteran friendly and unlike home depot, Lowe's offers a veteran discount all year long. All a veteran has to do is register with a phone number and they save you in the system. This particular location is one of the better Lowe's, it is always clean, shelves are well stocked and it's never messy. Any time I have asked a store associate for help they have directed me to the right area. There's a decent sized garden section during warmer months. The majority of their plants are well maintained but a few plants do seem to get skipped when it comes to watering.
It might be the same at all locations but this particular store seems to have one of the better light fixture selections that I have ever seen in any Lowe's.”

If you don’t see exactly what you are looking for be sure to ask about special order lighting and hardware. They also sell beautiful furniture and accessories! The showroom is huge and so much fun to explore. I highly recommend making an appointment if you are shopping for more than just a couple of pieces. It can take a while and you will want the one on one help! If box stores aren’t your thing and you would rather shop and support local while getting a HUGE selection to choose from, please do yourself a favor by choosing this gorgeous store.”

“I was asked five times, either if I needed help or just a friendly hello. Then at self checkout the clerk came over and removed a security tag without me even having to ask. As I was walking out to parking lot I greeted once note. NOT a normal experience at other Lowe’s as I travel around Oklahoma. Great customer service”

Rodney Scannell helped me through the process and had some great recommendations. Ordered what I needed and I was good to go. Great Service! As a result, in my experience Lowe's is focused on the typical home owner and Home Depot is focused on those wo do the work.
