The Owner was the sweetest lady I’ve ever met. This Family business was top tier. that’s coming from someone who isn’t from Lawton. just so happens, I’m in town to help with my mothers recovery from breast cancer surgery. And We all know there’s ancient secret with the herbs and teas.
she showed without a problem all the things I didn’t travel with. So I made what my mom wanted which was Beef Pho.
And man did it come out good. take a look.
She even went back for seconds.
But I’d highly recommend this business to anyone in Lawton, OK.”

“Something going on at Aldis. My last 3 visits saw 2 of them being less than what they have been in the past? The store not being faced, outdated food, produce specifically green grapes were all bad, floors dirty. All of my staff encounters are good except the one lady who does throw your food and NEVER has a kind word or look for anyone (I'm 76) I won't check out with her ever again! Thank you to the rest of the staff. Not sure about the security they have hired sketchy at best. I will still shop here maybe change the time I shop. This has been in the last 2 weeks :( Let's go Aldi get it together ?”

“Yes, it's a young DG. I have found items that Walmart and Target didn't have in their creamer section . It's a favorite during the late spring. So look closely they are new hires. Some are still learning to be customers friendly. I know I was in their shoes when I worked new jobs before retiring. So be nice to them, don't be unfriendly, be patient, ask them if they are new to the job, it will go a long way in it starts with the customer being friendly as well. The customer sets the tone no matter how friendly the staff is. They bend over backward to help those who ask as well as ask if they need help with finding something.”
“You know the kind of towns with a Dollar General smack dab in the middle of them.Kinda town.Honestly have not been to dollar general for years and years until I moved to Lawton recently. Only go due to proximity.Place has nearly everything though.There's even beer and tobacco.”

“I don't mind the 10% charge. They have coupons, it's quiet and less chaotic then Walmart, and they have double up duo to be able to have access to more fruits and veggies.i heard they were closing though sad to see them go.”
“Hands down my favorite business in Lawton, bar none. Has all of the qualities that a grocery store ought to possess, which other larger commercial chains lack. Is more expensive, but comes with a better selection of produce, meat (has a butcher counter), dairy, and a great selection of regionally produced products. The deli is also delicious. The staff is incredible, my children know their favorites by name. Shout out to Kevin and Kay!”

“It's a Dollar General. It seems decently stocked and fairly clean. I like that when I'm visiting my friend, I can stop in and it's not overly busy. It makes it easier when I'm out and about to knock out an errand or a couple of items from my shopping list without going out of my way.”

“They never have enough cashiers. Leaving your frozen food to thaw. They didn't even have someone to open up the quick out self service area one day. Usually only at the most are 2 open cashiers. USUALLY one. The Cashiers gripe about no one wanting to work there and that they are over worked. Kinda depressing.”

“I had a VERY bad experience at this store regarding fountain drink refills and an employee's rude refusal to address my concerns. Upon leaving, I believed I would never return to this or any other Stripes convenience store. I also immediately contacted the HQ of Stripes to complain about the pricing issue that led to my negative experience. Lo, and behold, the upper level management not only responded to my concerns in a professional and courteous manner, but addressed the issue within 24 hours. I am so impressed by their attentiveness to customer concerns that not only will I continue to choose Stripes stores for my gasoline, drinks, and snacks; I will actually return to this store on faith that the employees have been adequately informed how to treat customers. Good job Stripes Mgmt!”
“Rose at the 5330 Cache Road Store is so AWESOME she helped me find some items and the prices were at a $1 and literally saved over $20 dollars because she showed me how to save my money. “I typically don’t leave reviews unless i have terrible service but I experience the entirely opposite today with Janelle at the customer service desk! I had ordered sugar free redbull in my pick up order and received regular and drove up there to see if I could swap them out. It turned out they were out of stock but let’s just say that Janelle went above and beyond to make sure I left with what I had ordered. I haven’t had great customer service like that in a VERY LONG time. I hope she gets all the recognition she deserves and more. We need more people like her in customer service!!”
