Party supplies, craft supplies. Candy, chocolates. If you're lucky, there will be more than 1 person on cash. Today, there were actually 3! So the long line went fairly quickly.”

    “This place is huge!!! It’s next to the No Frills and I look forward to returning and checking out the massive number of aisles and the items they sell. I love original Shirley biscuits and found they had a ginger flavour at this store which I haven’t seen at other places. I found a small glass mug that I’ve been searching for so long and was excited because it was the perfect size! They had some cool looking plates too. I also found a cheese knife set that I haven’t seen at other dollar stores. They had this Italian carbonated spring water in a beautiful glass bottle I had to get! All were great deals. I got friendly service too at check out. I loved that they offered to wrap my glass mug.”

However, I can usually still find the things I need! 😊 The self-checkouts make the line for the cashier's move faster but it can still take a moment waiting in line, even when there's only one person ahead. I feel there should be one or two more self-checkout kiosks and it would flow much better!”

    “I bought an item from the Young and Lawrence Dollarama but it was damaged and not working and it also opened at 9:00am so I came to the ok be on Bayview and Millwood to exchange the item. I was told that I had to take it to the store that I bought the item by a very friendly staff member and then she told me to speak with the manager. The manager came and stated the same thing but she allowed me to exchange it at the store this one time. Super thankful because the other Dollarama didn't open until 9:00am and it's cold outside to wait an hour. Thank you ?”

It’s still an absolute treasure trove with an incredible variety of items, from cleaning supplies and kitchen gadgets to snacks and seasonal decor. You can definitely find some amazing deals, though it's worth keeping expectations in mind regarding product quality: some items are a bit hit-or-miss and strictly 'good enough for the price' rather than durable. That said, the store handles the crowds well. They have self-checkout options, so even when the store is packed, the lines move remarkably fast. A very convenient spot for daily essentials as long as you pick and choose wisely!”

    “Juliet has cashed me out twice now and her service is outstanding. She is an incredible human being. She is warm, sincere and kind. She is so caring in everything she does from the way she organizes my bags to how she engages with me in polite friendly conversations. I stopped by for curtains and a few odds and ends on a day where I was really struggling and her friendly engagement with me changed my entire outlook on my whole day. I returned the next day and she was working again. I went through her line and had the same amazing experience. She is an absolute gem and I will continue to return because of her.
