“Best of Toronto farm fresh foods! I feel so grateful to live near this store. As a vegetarian, I find the organic and fair trade products and produce to be the best quality anywhere in the city. While it definitely seems more catered to meat-eaters with the large meat section, the locally-sourced pies, hummus, frozen lentil daal, vegan ice cream, gluten-free bread, butter, vegetables, and seasonal fruits offer delicious farm eats in the comfort of the city. All the staff are super friendly, inclusive, and it feels like community!”
“I absolutely LOVE this store! They make the most delicious and healthy snacks, grind/blend their own spices, roast and dry their own nuts, beans and fruit, and will soon be serving their house made chai tea. The staff are so lovely and helpful and their products are made with pride and love.”
“Finally able to stop & check out what's available, all others times I've been too late as I'm driving home from work. So glad to find familiar Filipino dishes. Picked dinuguan, beef steak and pork adobo as well as a pack of pancit for another time. Got home and immediately took some leftover rice and added the dinuguan which I've not had in years and one piece of pork from the adobo. I am so satisfied and the flavours suited my palate. Had a nice chat with the chef, too. Bought some fried peanuts, too!”
“A neighborhood gem. They have an amazing selection of ramen, snacks, plants, and even fresh produce. The store stocks the best energy drinks, pop, water and juice. It's appealing because the stock rotates constantly and they don't let anything collect dust. The owners are very friendly to their regulars. It's also a very lucky spot for lotto winners apparently.”
“One of the best grocery stores in the east /midtown area. A bit hard to access by foot unless you live nearby, but easy drive to get there and worth the drive. Their produce is top notch, in-house made products are excellent, service is great, and the food at their sandwich/pizza counter is really delicious.”
