“We had been looking for a couch to fit our living room in our new home for a while when we stumbled upon Lofty Ambitions. We had our eye on the Owen Sectional which we saw from their website that Lofty Ambitions sold, but we were confused as to sizing and dimensions for our semi-awkwaed space. From the moment we walked in, Elizabeth was so incredibly kind, so helpful and knowledgeable. She was also so patient with us and our indecisiveness across multiple visits. With her help, we were ultimately able to customize the Owen Sectional to fit our space and we are so incredibly pleased with everything about it! Thank you to Elizabeth and Lofty Ambitions! “I love coming into this store. They always have new products for home decorating, DIY (paint) and organizing. Whoever sets up displays has a sharp sense of style that has influenced my home decorating. I pay attention on Facebook when they do store tours on Fridays, and during the pandemic they even had live streamed lotteries for unique products. It was something fun to do in a boring time. Previously, I was able to bring in my own items for consignment and Michelle, Penny and Jenny were fantastic to deal with!”
“We didn't realize the store is closing down. We were browsing and Ashley was SUPER helpful ! She explained everything in detail, and was very friendly and patient with us. The most amazing customer service!! We end up buying a 8x10 rug and beige couch for our bedroom, two laundry baskets, three cushions and ottoman for our entryway. We can't wait to use them!!”

What really stood out was that they actually took the time to introduce themselves (!) and help me unlike several local furniture stores in Hamilton and Burlington areas where I felt completely left to my own devices! Lisa worked through options, and I left feeling confident about my choices. There’s a genuine family vibe here that made the whole experience comfortable and enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend Lisa and this store! I’m gonna love my forever couch and ottoman.”

“This is my first time ever doing something like this, I've never done rent to own before but so far this has been an amazing experience. I called & confirmed what they needed to go ahead with a lease, Derek on the phone & in-store was great - Tracy in the store was outstanding. She told me I was leaving with a tv & I mean it got delivered the next day but still, 100/10. The delivery guys were fantastic, brought it in, set it up, they were nice & even took the box so I didn't have to deal with it. They were in & out within half an hour & left no mess. I'll update if anything happens but the price is more than reasonable, especially if you're on a budget - they will work with you & the product so far is out of this world.

“I am not sure about the other reviews on here, as they don't fit my experience at all! Thank you Braeden for your help in my purchase of a mattress. This was for my elderly Father, and he accomodated our needs very well. My Dad is very happy with his new mattress and I am happy with his excellent customer service given. I appreciated his kindness given not only in explaining the differences in mattress types, but also for him putting the mattress in my car for me as well! Our cares were heard, and taken seriously, and I could not be more pleased. I highly recommend you shop here, and trust that your experience will go well too! Thank you again Braeden! “Disappointing Customer Service
The store itself is lovely, with lots of beautiful furnishings and interesting little treasures to browse through. I actually purchased two bracelets during our visit.
Unfortunately, the customer service left us very disappointed. While I was paying at the front counter, my friend, who is also a senior, asked if she could please use the washroom. She explained that she really needed to go. The response was simply that, due to problems in the past, they had a policy of not allowing customers to use the washroom.
I understand that businesses can have issues with washroom use, and I can appreciate having a policy in place. However, I do think there are times when a little discretion and compassion would go a long way. Here was a senior woman who was clearly in need of a washroom and certainly wasn't going to cause any trouble. She ultimately had to walk two blocks back to the restaurant we had just left, where they kindly allowed her to use theirs.
As I finished my purchase, the staff member explained that they had previously had some young girls become sick in the washroom and leave a terrible mess. I understand that would be frustrating, but it would have been nice if the situation could have been handled with a little more understanding rather than simply saying no.
There was also another customer-service issue during our visit. While I was waiting at the counter to be served, the staff member spent much of the time on her computer, talking to someone, rather than attending to me.
It's unfortunate because the store itself is beautiful and has some lovely things. But customer service is an important part of the shopping experience, and unfortunately, this visit left us feeling unwelcome and disappointed.”
“As a new member of the Hauser family at the Waterloo showroom, I’ve been so impressed by how many clients come in and tell us they’ve had their Hauser outdoor furniture for 20, 30, even more than 30 years — and it still looks amazing. Some even say they’re passing it down to their children. WOW! Talk about getting incredible value for your money!”
