I work in retail where customer service is number one. Especially when a customer is making a relatively bigger purchase/decision.
Unfortunately customer service was lacking here, as the manager was rude and unhelpful, almost like she wanted us to finish quick and leave. I hate leaving reviews like this, but experienced this on two separate occasions.”

We had a set price in mind to spend on our furniture but after meeting with Roberto we for go our budget. “I was looking for a particular type of chair. I was directed to a few options and found the perfect one. Delivery was arranged quickly and it was delivered on time. The gentlemen doing the delivery were very respectful with respect to a medical meeting happening in the home. The chair was brought inside, assembled without delay and they were on to the next. I’m very pleased with the experience from start to finish and mother is resting comfortably in her new chair.”
“I recently bought some end tables from the Stoney Creek JYSK store. They only had 3 in stock and I needed 4. Brian, the manager of the store was able to find another end table at anotherJYSK store and generously offered to pick it up for me to save me a trip ,since we live a distance away. I was so pleased he would offer. And good as his word, sure enough a few days later, the table arrived. Thank you so much Brian. We love the tables !!”

“This is my first time ever doing something like this, I've never done rent to own before but so far this has been an amazing experience. I called & confirmed what they needed to go ahead with a lease, Derek on the phone & in-store was great - Tracy in the store was outstanding. She told me I was leaving with a tv & I mean it got delivered the next day but still, 100/10. The delivery guys were fantastic, brought it in, set it up, they were nice & even took the box so I didn't have to deal with it. They were in & out within half an hour & left no mess. I'll update if anything happens but the price is more than reasonable, especially if you're on a budget - they will work with you & the product so far is out of this world.

“Very nice store! Small but excellent quality items curated by the lady owner. Don’t get fooled by the neighborhood. Very high quality made in canada furniture. You can customize everything! We picked up a set of stools where we chose the metal and fabric. Great choice of rugs. 100% wool as well as synthetics. Unique kitchen items. I picked up a couple of bowl covers made in Manitoba to use to cover my bread bannetons. A good collection of arts as well. Highly recommended.”
“I love coming into this store. They always have new products for home decorating, DIY (paint) and organizing. Whoever sets up displays has a sharp sense of style that has influenced my home decorating. I pay attention on Facebook when they do store tours on Fridays, and during the pandemic they even had live streamed lotteries for unique products. It was something fun to do in a boring time. Previously, I was able to bring in my own items for consignment and Michelle, Penny and Jenny were fantastic to deal with!”

“Customers Kim Tran and Nu Quach, we have been customers of Leon's for many years came to Alexis in customer service explained very clearly about Flexiti's policies and charges and provided information about the vendors. We had an issue with Sleep Country where no information about charges and fees were provided. We were not told by them about any administration fees and was added to our account without us being aware, causing us to be charged interest for the entire year by Flexiti and are now in despute with Sleep Country through BBB. Alexis was able to provide us clear information about financing, administration fees and how we can go about purchasing. We are very confident and satisfied with the excellent customer service provided by Alexis at the Hamilton store.”

“A decent Homesense. I went in looking for wrapping paper and a vase or a platter. No luck on the vase or platter. A few there but a little tacky for my liking. I found the one in Ancaster had a better selection but I haven’t been there for a while.I did find nice wrapping paper at a fairly good price. The lineup was very quick and the girl behind the counter was both pleasant and helpful.I do recommend this location if looking for most, but not all items you may be hoping a Homesense carries.”
