“Tracy from the paint section is an outstanding worker. Her customer service skills are exceptional. She is beyond knowledgeable and patient. I was worried about paint smells and she opened multiple cans for me until I was comfortable and helped me select the best paint for the job I was doing at home. Definitely deserves to be acknowledged for her welcoming and helpful personality.”
“With the prices so ridiculous giant tiger is the place to go, they have alot of the brand named you see at the grocery store but you get way more for your money. It's also a one stop shop . Food clothes , housewares, everything, I love it, even pet supplies.❤️”

“I wouldn't normally write a review for a big box store, but the folks at Homesense on Merivale really deserve some accolades. I was there today to do a return and some shopping and was impressed by the great selection of products and the level of service. There was a kind woman out on the floor who offered a couple of times to help me find what I was looking for, and the cashier (for both the return and purchases) was both friendly and courteous. In these days of online shopping, I think it's key that bricks-and-mortar stores go the extra mile to create a great in-person experience, and Homesense on Merivale does just that.”
“Owen from Homesense went above and beyond with his customer service. I purchased a 6 ft nutcracker from this store. Owen took the time ( on one of the busiest days of the year) to wrap it up with foam and then with shrink wrap. He also brought it out and loaded it onto my husband’s truck.

“If anyone want to buy clothing , perfumes, bags etc. this is best place in Canada where you get good value for money. They have huge stocks of roll back & un noticeable minor stain articles of all Major brands on almost half price. So be vigilant while selection.”
“It can be lovely and sales or even the prices can be great but sometimes those prices are wild. But I've found very good deals. The problem is going about and finding people to help me. But when I do they're very kind. Beware the customers there. They walk not knowing where they're going. Sometimes I can't blame them but I went in and they would stop in pairs and not think about the fact that they're taking up the whole isle. I won't be rude but it was baffling how much it happened in one visit. Oh well haha, still will keep coming here <3”

“Fantastic store. I went to many different Winners’ branches, but this store has one of the largest selections of luggage and bags. Awesome prices as always. I have to admit that I am a big fan of Marshalls, Winners and Home Sense so I am probably biased. Totally worth the trip down to Merivale road on a weekend.”

“I can’t say enough about the incredible service I received at this Canadian Tire location. I was in a stressful situation and the gentleman at the Tire service counter went above and beyond to help me. He personally helped bring the Tire to the couch, made me feel completely comfortable, and reassured me that he understood my situation without any judgment.
On top of that, he was funny, warm, and generally kind-the kind of person who turns a stressful errand into something comforting. His professionalism and humanity completely blew me away. Thank you for making a difficult day is so much easier and for treating me with dignity and respect. I’ll absolutely be recommending this location to everyone I know.”

“HUGE WALMART, huge grocery section which is restocked daily! Friendly greeting staff as well. No matter what I need walmart has become my new go to place, they've only really not had a few items ive needed (vegan margarine, big canvases, candle wicks) Every isle has a wide selection except cats & books, but still this super store is just that! Its massive!!! The convenience & size is why It gets 4 stars and my realization that they dont delivery is why that 5th star stays with me! So what if I dont drive I cant buy big furniture ? I was told to go online for my two large wardrobes but when I did the site said it was too large to deliver... What? Lol!!! So i got someone with a truck to help me, someone helped bring it outside but didnt help lift it up into the truck which I found rude. The elevator outside is also always broken, which is also on bayshore but none the less enjoy walking down 8 flights of stairs with a million bags!”

They have just about anything you could think of and at pretty reasonable prices. We buy our oatmeal and large bags of brown sugar here...for way less than anywhere Else by far.
Tuna on sale often super cheap.
Lots of parking and uf you go earlier in the day it's actually a lot less busy and crowded.”

Update 1: I've been there yesterday. They seem to be fixing it. I'll upgrade to 5 star when they are done.
We did our shopping, and I gave a 5-star rating on the self-check machine. Then, on our way out, while pushing the cart, it's wheel fell in a hole ? in the pavement (see the photo). This caused the cart stop abruptly, and I suddenly bumped into it, which caused severe pain ? in my leg ? that I still feel now about a week later.”
