“It's an average Marshall's. It can be on the busy side so don't be in a rush to check out - it does move along but expect a few minutes wait. Because it's busy I tend to find fewer treasures here but I still seem to consistently buy something ?”

2210 Bank St, Ottawa“This review is really for TJX because the associates I dealt with at Southkeys Winners were not keen on listening to my issue and just handed me a business card to contact TJX. I had a $50 gift card with proof of purchase, that was declined and left my purchase behind. The process was time consuming as it underwent an investigation but TJX came through and provided me with a new gift card. I haven't used it yet but I assume it is good. A Manager had to be present to confirm my identity and collect the original gift certificate and receipt, she was very irritated and abrupt with the sales staff (who was very pleasant) and after collecting the appropriate info from me, she just left her staff and myself and went on to the next task. I expected some enthusiasm and maybe to hear "I am so happy we were able to resolve the issue" and maybe "have a great day" or "thank you for your business." The Manager showed no customer service skills, at least not that day. I am still giving 5 stars because I promised TJX I would!!!”

8AM - 7PM
1170 Heron Rd, Ottawa“Yesterday, a customer spoke to a clerk, and I patiently waited for them to finish. I then excused myself and asked for a voltage converter. The customer wasn’t happy that I was talking to the clerk, even though they were done talking. He then walked out and said, “You’re an idiot.” We didn’t know who he referred to, me or the clerk. I was stunned. Another customer heard him and asked me what happened. He then chased the person and reported it to the manager. His actions moved me since I couldn’t defend myself from the rude customer. I am thankful for the manager who took action and didn’t tolerate that kind of behaviour and also for the other customer who stood up and reported the incident.”
“Typical Walmart layout and experience. As a consumer, you should go through the self checkout and pay with cash. You will be expedited through and they scan your items, not you.”
“Biggest Canadian Tire store I’ve been in well laid out and glad when I entered a friendly staff member was at the main entrance to direct me to where find what I was looking for. Once I got in the general area another staff member led me to the exact spot.Overall a great experience and nice to have the extra items in stock.”
