“I get that there are complaints in the reviews. It’s Wal-mart, it’s not perfect. But the prices are unbeatable and my shopping experience has been great for years. I realized I had been massively overplaying at Shoppers for items I can get here. Great prices on toaster ovens and cat food. I eat a lot of the Lindt Excellence chocolate and they have the high cocoa percentages that are hard to find elsewhere at the best price, usually on sale. Customer service has been overall good, and easy returns. You can’t beat the prices.”
“Had a great experience at Phatboy Fireworks! Jeet was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable — he guided me through all the options and helped me choose high-quality fireworks that were perfect for the occasion. The selection was amazing, prices were fair, and everything I picked performed even better than expected. Thanks, Jeet, for making it easy to find the best fireworks. Highly recommended!”
“Wonderful, friendly, and helpful staff. They all seem to genuinely love the product they work with and know a lot about it. Their pick a brick was is smaller than it used to be, but still stocked with fun pieces. I come to Yorkdale just for this store.”
“Exceptional service pretty busy line ups but there should be a better customer service traffic direction and people that have less items should be in self check out lines and people with more should be in line ups! may need team member to better organize the line up traffic! for even greater service!!”
“I have nothing but praise for the cashier who served me yesterday at Winners Vaughan Mills Outlet Mall. Her name was Siddra - a young adult who has Excellent customer service skills. She made my shopping experience absolutely amazing. She was so kind, and so giving - I mean how often does one come across a cashier at a retail outlet who can provide such amazing service. Siddra is *exceptional - for some individuals they don't even have to think when it comes to offering help; they're born with it. Siddra you are an outstanding Associate! Your employer should be so proud of you!”
“One of the best locations filled with so much variety. It’s the perfect location for gift shopping. Because there is a HomeSense attached to it, there is a lot to look through. Make sure you have enough time. I can easily spend hours at this location. Some items do get dirty and damaged though.”
“Basic Giant Tiger location. Front end check out is cramped and hectic. Be prepared to spend a fairly long time in line. This of course depends on time of day but seriously it can be very slow.”
“My husband and I had an excellent experience with Melonie in the appliance section yesterday. We went in to purchase a dryer to replace our broken one. Melonie was very friendly and knowledgeable and gave us recommendations with space to make a decision without being pushy like some sales people are. She even recommended a product to clean my washer gasket which I appreciated when I brought up a concern to her. I recommend dealing with her for your appliance needs and look forward to my new dryer!”

“Shoutout to Marina , who not only helped me to find the best possible present for my mom , but has showed me what an excellent customer service looks like. She was kind, polite knowledgeable and very helpful. Attentive to the details. And the store itself is one of the best in Vaughan (as to me personally)”
“I recently visited this Winners for the first time, and I was impressed by the experience. The store had a massive selection of items, especially in the household section, where you can find almost anything you need. The layout is nice and inviting, making it easy to browse through their extensive inventory.
One standout feature is their impressive collection of men’s clothing, which is both stylish and reasonably priced. Also great selections of pets bedding. I appreciated the fact that the store was not very busy, allowing for a more relaxed shopping experience. Plus, Winners frequently offers discounts and deals on branded items, which is definitely a bonus.
However, I did find that the men’s dress shirts were on the pricier side, with the exception of those on clearance. This was a bit disappointing, but overall, the variety and value offered by Winners make it a place I would definitely shop at again. If you’re looking for a great selection of affordable items, this store is worth a visit!”

“Not the biggest selection, but it does the trick in a pinch. The big issue is that there is always a huge lineup and not all the cash registers are open during the big rushes.”

“I like the organized selection at this location. Other locations tend to carry too much stuff, but this location has just enough, with a good variety. The staff are usually friendly. The only negative experience I had was on the phone with customer service. I inquired about an item I know they sell without details but received an immediate “No. No.” and it felt like the staff was not interested in confirming or checking for the item before responding. It felt rude and dismissive. I have worked in customer service before and would not speak to a customer like that.”
“Really huge, nice room and lots of great stuff. I was able t9 get something for my mom .also employees are nice they helped me a lot .so, for those out there looking for fashion, don't go to our winners' locations. come to the winners of the sherdian mall located in the basement level in front of the food court.”
“This location is newly updated and has a great selection of product! The staff here were wonderful and helpful. They were able to help me process a refund that the Centerpoint Mall location would not do for me.”

“►First of all, I always go to this store for my Acura.
►The Manager Rohit is the best ever.
►And then today I called and spoke to Nicholas who answered the phone promptly, pulled up my records and gave me the information very efficiently. I believe that Nicholas has the best attitude to deal with customers.
►Other sales and service personnel in all stores should learn a lot from Nicholas.
►Thank you Nicholas. God bless you sir.◄”
“One of my favorite multiuse plaza / condo / food market place . Parking can be problematic sometimes due to small parking spaces and lots of in and out traffic . Anyways it is still a great place to shop for food if you are in the Yonge and Steeles area.”
“Store isn't as big as Yorkdale so departments are scared down. Still, ample stock foe everyday needs, including clothes, bathroom, bedroom, jewelry, kitchen, etc.”

“For those who don't know what Winners are:
a store that re-sorts different brands of new clothes, shoes, cosmetics and personal care products at a significant discount. That is, there you can buy a really cool branded item at a good price. As a result, Feature: 1-2 sizes only, but due to the abundance and variety, you can almost always buy what you need/like from another brand and generally find out what brands there are in the world and what wonderful things they sometimes produce.
A kind of paradise for shopaholics.”
“This location is being converted to Zellers and displays both banners concurrently. It is filled with HBC merchandise right now. It’s a beautiful and well stocked department store.”
“Great stuff if you know where to find it. There’s plenty of toys, furniture, and water coolers to keep you busy looking. It felt like I was at the casino. This is a returns/consignment store where the big boys sell damaged goods, returns, and nearly expired food. There’s 80% off some great items that’d go for a firm buck fifty elsewhere. My expired cereal and Ethernet cable have all been great. Only faulty product I’ve got is a TV antenna but I’m blaming it on the manufacturer.”
“I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the cashier for his exceptional customer service. His courteous and professional demeanor greatly enhanced my experience. I would also like to acknowledge "Maya" for her outstanding service.”
“The staff at KitchenStuffPlus (Richmond Hill) is wonderful. Trying to decide on cutlery/flatware, our very helpful (and patient) associate (Mara) was most informative about materials, finishes, staining, weight, and cleaning. There was no hesitation to remove individual knives or forks or spoons from the very large selection of display boards to let us experience the weight, balance and feel of various products. She also consulted other stores' available inventory when required.
A great experience ... these days not often found ! Bravo !”
“Kindly replying to a very inconsiderate review in the name of Hedwig.
I’m writing this as someone who knows the cashier you named personally, and I feel compelled to respond because this review unfairly misrepresents what actually happened. First of all, Ellen did not demand that you bag your items. She offered it as an option because you had a very large purchase and a long line that followed behind you and if you didn’t know that’s something many cashiers do to help speed things along, speaking from personal experiences. Turning that into an accusation that she was “refusing to do her job” is simply untrue. As for the cash issue yes, she paused to recount the bills and clearly you have no idea that this is what a responsible cashier does when handed a large amount of cash, ESPECIALLY after being spoken to aggressively which puts a teenage cashier that already works in a busy environment at that time in a very stressful situation. What is inappropriate as a grown woman at your big age of 70+ was telling a teenage worker to “learn basic math,” calling her “not too bright,” and making comments about her parents. That crossed a line. Mistakes happen. Verbal humiliation is a choice. I want to mention that you also omitted the fact that YOUR own husband and another customer stepped in because of how you were speaking to her. Really embarrassing… Ellen never raised her voice or used disrespectful language at you. She is a grown adult that is very self aware on talking to costumers as she’s clearly been there for 2 years and that really says a lot about her work ethics. Lastly a supervisor calmly assisted to de-escalate the situation. Publicly naming a young employee, insulting her intelligence, and mocking her family is not “constructive feedback.” It’s bullying, and doing it online days later only reinforces that. You are a 70+ year old woman, if bullying a little girl at your grown age is okay with you, then you should stay home. It’s already hard for us university students to find jobs these days taken the fact that our economy has gone to shit and we already stress the fact that we have loans to pay. Retail workers are not punching bags. Many are students, many are young, and all deserve basic human respect. If this interaction truly upset you, there were appropriate ways to address it without trying to publicly shame someone who was doing her best under pressure. Ellen is kind, hardworking, and has been employed at this location for two years without incident. One difficult interaction does not define her, but this review says a lot about how easily some people forget empathy when speaking to those they believe are beneath them. I really do hope future feedback is given with more fairness and humanity. Thank you and again, It is never too late to learn from mistakes.”
