“Tips: - This store offers canned drinks at $1.50 each, including a decent variety of Fanta flavours. - Cash, and credit and debit cards are acceptable payment methods. On Monday, I had spent some time in a plaza with a ServiceOntario and a Calabria Bakery. I felt accomplished getting a replacement accessibility parking permit for my mom and a veal sandwich for me, respectively. I realized that I didn't have a drink. Lucky Convenience was between these two businesses. I thought that getting a drink from this store would be perfect. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a nice woman behind the counter. My guess is that business was slow, as she seemed genuinely happy to see a human walk into her store. I saw frozen treats. Part of me wanted a popsicle, but I needed a drink to accompany my sandwich for lunch. This store has a decent variety of cold drinks. I saw Fanta in cans. I knew that I wanted one, but I didn't see any prices. I asked the woman how much a can was going for. She said $1.50. i said that I'd get two. That price is decent. It has no tax on it. My Fanta drinks consisted of these flavours: - Berry - Pineapple I paid with a five-dollar bill. Yes, I had cash. No, there isn't an apocalypse happening. I got change back. It felt like I was going back in time, paying without ever hearing about credit and debit cards. I thanked the woman. She seemed happy that I had stopped by, bought some items, and paid with cash. The drinks were cold. I drank the berry one on my way home. I loved it. It was berry, berry good. I've been craving a pineapple drink. I got my fix having pineapple Fanta with my veal sandwich. It was refreshing and perfect. When I'm back at this plaza, I'm returning here for drinks and possibly a popsicle. I had a terrific experience.”

“I've always been a fan of this shop when it was still on the first floor since I was a kid. Love all the fun snacks they carry from Asia; you can always find something new each time :) Prices are a tad pricier than other local snack shops but they do have every flavours in stock, especially White Rabbit candies! Now that they have moved upstairs on the 2/F, and updated the name to Ding Dong Exotic Sweet, I still visit from time to time to find my favourite treats! I love how bright, clean and spacious it is inside. Staff is always ready to help. A little recent turn off was staff working there was coughing while restocking, and wasn't wearing a mask. As Asians, we learn to walk away and continue to shop like nothing happened lol.”

“Tips: - This store has a Polar Pop machine. - Collect PC Optimum points here. This Circle K convenience store is connected to an Esso station. It's near the Costco around the corner. I find that it's tough finding a store that has Polar Pop and Froster machines as of late. It's where I like to get a cheap fizzy drink. Circle K decided to make way for its beer, wine, and other alcoholic beverages by removing Polar Pop or Froster machines, or both. I decided to check whether this store has a Polar Pop machine. I came here after work last Wednesday. I found a parking spot steps away from the store. I backed into the spot and walked in. I was pleased to see a Polar Pop machine. Yay! I had a theory that if a Circle K store has a Tim Hortons, chances are that it doesn't have a Froster or Polar Pop machine. I need to throw that theory out. This store has a Timmy's and a Polar Pop machine. There is one female staffer here who is so welcoming and friendly. I've been here a couple of times to get an extra large Polar Pop and she's always been great. I have had my PC Optimum card scanned before I paid for my drink. It's $1.69 before tax. It's a grand total of $1.91 once tax is applied. I've always paid with a credit card. No issues at all. There are no straws by the Polar Pop machine. You get a straw once you pay for your drink. I find that the Diet Coke from the Polar Pop machine to be less crisp compared to that at McDonald's. If you get a full-on sugary drink, such as Barq's root beer, the flavour is excellent. You end up bouncing off walls, though. What I do instead is fill my cup with Diet Coke first, and then add a sugary flavour. I do like Crush cream soda. The combination is excellent. It's nice getting my pop fix here. I'll be back soon.”
