“20+ years of trusty service. Reliable and knowledgeable. I haven't witness any remotely bad service attitude while waiting for my ride being serviced throughout the years.”

“Great place to gets gas, lottery and snacks. Gas is cheapest in town. Friendly staff. I pay at the pumps and get my journie points when I punch in my phone number at the pump. Love how clean the store is.”

“This Shell location is honestly above and beyond the typical gas station experience. The store is extremely clean, organized, fresh-smelling, and has a great variety of products. Everything from the pumps to the shelves and price tags shows real care and attention. The washrooms were especially impressive. Unfortunately, in many gas stations you almost have to hold your breath, but this store is the complete opposite. They felt more like the master bathroom of a luxury hotel than a typical gas station washroom. Customer service was also excellent, with a friendly and professional vibe. This experience has significantly enhanced my perception of the Shell brand and its value. It definitely feels like extra care and investment has gone into it. Great job to the team and management.”

“The girl who works at this Esso gas station is always so nice and polite. Every time I come in, she’s friendly, respectful, and makes the experience better. Great customer service!”

“The staff are quite nice. The service is good. The car wash is even quite quick, some adjustments could to be made for a better clean. However, this place is riddled with potholes and makes me slightly uncomfortable with how many you need to avoid. They really need to address the pothole problem. Editted: pot hole issue is fixed”

“Pretty standard station, but the charge for my credit card from this location shows up in Markham, under a different name and brand. So it’s not Esso like the other gas stations. I thought it was a fraud but thankfully it wasn’t. Just a FYI”

“I'm not sure if this will get to the gentleman that helped me with my tires late afternoon today. I am truly thankful to have bumped into a kind hearted person like you! With no hesitation you helped me pump air into my tires, even paid for me, taught me how to read the tire gage, and when you realized that my tire was leaking air even though you've pumped it to 40's you told me to immediately go to Canadian Tires and ask to fill the holes for no more than $25! THANK YOU!!!! You've made my day!! I hope I can repay you back someday!! You are an angel!!”

“I have gone to this car wash for years. I drive 10 km one way just to get a car wash and occasionally gas. If ever I have an issue withbthe wash, they rewash my vehicle no questions or hasle. I have a monthly subscription. Less than $3 a wash per day. The promo of 5 cents a liter is amazing. The card gives you up to 200 litres at this discounted price. I highly recommend this location!! Staff is amazing!”

“My visit to this Petro Canada gas station was pleasant. This gas station smells clean and fresh. Unlike the other gas stations I visited in the past. If I lived closer I’d come here for all my fuelling up needs. Keep up the high clean standards team. Thank you!”
5965 Hwy 7, Markham ON L3P 1A1
“A standard Esso gas station, however it seems that if you decide to pay at the pump and you change your mind you'll have to express that to the attendant inside regardless of what it says on screen. Very strange, and it may even cost you time. A good operation in all other aspects 4/5.”

“I always fill up at the Pioneer gas station, and it’s consistently a great experience. Today, I was helped by a gentleman named Mani, and I just had to leave a review. He was incredibly friendly, polite, and helpful — such a genuinely positive person. His attitude really brightened my day. It’s rare to meet someone so kind and professional at the same time. Thank you, Mani, for your excellent service!”

“Tips: - This store has a Polar Pop machine. - Collect PC Optimum points here. This Circle K convenience store is connected to an Esso station. It's near the Costco around the corner. I find that it's tough finding a store that has Polar Pop and Froster machines as of late. It's where I like to get a cheap fizzy drink. Circle K decided to make way for its beer, wine, and other alcoholic beverages by removing Polar Pop or Froster machines, or both. I decided to check whether this store has a Polar Pop machine. I came here after work last Wednesday. I found a parking spot steps away from the store. I backed into the spot and walked in. I was pleased to see a Polar Pop machine. Yay! I had a theory that if a Circle K store has a Tim Hortons, chances are that it doesn't have a Froster or Polar Pop machine. I need to throw that theory out. This store has a Timmy's and a Polar Pop machine. There is one female staffer here who is so welcoming and friendly. I've been here a couple of times to get an extra large Polar Pop and she's always been great. I have had my PC Optimum card scanned before I paid for my drink. It's $1.69 before tax. It's a grand total of $1.91 once tax is applied. I've always paid with a credit card. No issues at all. There are no straws by the Polar Pop machine. You get a straw once you pay for your drink. I find that the Diet Coke from the Polar Pop machine to be less crisp compared to that at McDonald's. If you get a full-on sugary drink, such as Barq's root beer, the flavour is excellent. You end up bouncing off walls, though. What I do instead is fill my cup with Diet Coke first, and then add a sugary flavour. I do like Crush cream soda. The combination is excellent. It's nice getting my pop fix here. I'll be back soon.”

“I love this gas station because the price are very low especially at night but Google is not correct on the price. It's 138.9 right now but Google says it's 143.9”

“Tremendous customer service and professionalism from the lady! The car wash is definitely underrated. One of the best touchless car washes I've been in compared to the other major gas station car washes (I wash my SUV once every week!). I will be a returning customer. Thank you !”

“I came in to get my regular Monster, and Gurinder kindly offered me a tea to try. I decided to give it a shot, and honestly, I really liked it! Great customer service and a nice recommendation. Thanks, Gurinder! I’ll definitely be getting the tea again.”

“This is one of the best Shell car washes in the GTA. Yes, the entire GTA. I’ve tried the Shell touchless in Mississauga, Etobicoke, Scarborough, Markham, and Newmarket. This one has one the best washes and dryers by far. Yes the wait time is approximately 5 mins per car, but that’s normal for touchless car washes. If you have a problem with that, maybe don’t select a time where everyone’s off work and trying to wash cars. Asides from the acceptable wait time which can be overlooked, this car wash is amazing. 10/10 would recommend! Update: I arrived at 5:59 PM, and I was in the car Wash bay by 6:01, and out by 6:06. This is extremely fast for a touchless wash around this time.”

“This gas station and car wash is located in Markham/Highlgen. It is a non-contact fully automatic car wash that does everything from flushing, draining the washing water, and washing the car to air drying. It does not cause too much damage to the entire car body and is very popular. Every time after washing, it feels very clean and bright! “10/10 don’t recall the cashiers name but she had blondish/orange hair and wore glasses. Was one of the best experiences I had with a cashier. She helped an elderly man pay for an Uber ride out of her own free will. Give her a raise!”

“Been coming to this gas station for many years. They have lots of food and beverage options, along with a car wash and Royal Bank ATM. Some gas pumps require you to pay at the pump. Use RBC Visa for 3 cents off gas. Lots of parking spaces.”

“I had a fantastic experience at this gas station today, October 24, 2024 at 4 PM. The service here is always great, but today, the employee named Abinaya on duty really went above and beyond to help me. She was not only polite and friendly but also took the extra time to assist me with lotteries. It’s rare to find such genuine and attentive service these days! I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend this location to anyone in the area.”

“Touch less wash actually washes better than Esso’s touchless. Mobile app available for convenience and includes vacuum too. Open 24 hours so be early… around 5-6am to avoid the queue during winter months. :)”
The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.

Read the postLove's Travel Stops is rolling out a new system that turns work into a game for its restaurant employees. Picture this: Three big screens in each restaurant, tracking how fast workers greet customers, take orders, and hand out food. It's not just for show - early results say it's making service 11 seconds faster on average. "These monitors track key performance metrics in real-time, such as greet times, order processing times and the time it takes for food handoff," Love's explains. The system creates a more interactive environment, fostering friendly competition between stores.
