    “Clean, well organized and huge grocery store located in the First Markham Place shopping mall. The prices of the fruit and vegetables are generally 10 to 20% higher than other grocery stores but they offer a large selection that's good quality and you may not be able to find another grocery stores. They have an amazing variety of different products and brands of packaged goods so if you're looking for something specific, you will find it here. The downside is that it can be hard to find parking because this area is very busy and there are not many spots in peak hours. You may also be competing with people attending the mall or restaurants nearby. Also, the parking lot is slightly hazardous as the ground is uneven and there are some strange curbs. It is quite a far walk to the store and the parking lot is not very accessible.”

    “This is specifically reviewing the montreal roast sandwich! This sandwich is MEATY my goodness! For the classic low costco price and the amount of meat and an added on pickle, you can't beat a soon-to-be classic like this that's for sure. Unfortunately it doesn't come with a drink and you'll have to buy the hot dog + drink item Overall I think it's pretty filling especially if you eat the whole pickle, I don't think you'll find any sandwich that can compete with this deal”

    “Update: Sep 17 I bought Danon Drink yogurt. The date on the package is not yet expired, but its taste is off. I believe other customers reviewed they have broken fridge and still not repaired. The manager really need to take a look at those fridges. Some might not work to the desired temperature. Love the meat counter at this location. Fresh! Save me a trip to the Chinese supermarket. Pre-package bone for cooking soup is good quality. I haven't had direct communication with the staffs behind the counters, but they seem friendly to other customers. Unlike other chinese supermarkets, those staffs are full of profanity!! All isles are neat and organized. Not very crowded even during eveving hours. Those cashiers are very courteous and greet me during checkout. Overall is a good shopping experience at this location.”

    “These self-checkouts at most grocery stores: You put your groceries on the wrong side or prefer to carry them after scanning and it either won't proceed or requires an attendant's key code to unlock it. Good store otherwise in that the staff have conversed with me at length regarding product details & availability. Their knowledge of meats and produce has been helpful. It's not top of the line extravagance but you'll find good food. Some items have the lowest prices around while some are just a little above No Frills. Overall, it's a very complentary option to other grocery stores in the area.”

    “This is a small grocery store, but you will find a bit of everything if you search for it. What I like: very easy to park (not rage inducing like T&T parking lots), great quality of fruits and veggies, pretty much all ingredients you will find here. My parents love this store: there are more traditional ingredients you don’t usually find in other grocers. Prices are reasonable, definitely not what I would describe as overpriced. I am sensitive to smells and yes, there is some odour coming from the butcher and seafood counter but it is nothing out of the ordinary. Typical of most Chinese grocery stores and definitely not offensive. Customer service is typical of any Asian establishment. It is not part of our culture to be bubbly. Our parents beat it out of us. In my opinion, this store is a neighborhood gem.”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
