“Updated May 2023Overall, this is a great place to buy bulk food items, get cake decorating supplies, spiced, health foods, and supplements. There are often coupons available: $3 off per $15, or $5 off per $20. Wednesday is 10% off for Seniors (65+) and Students. You do have to know your prices, as not everything is cheaper than the grocery stores. But that is with any store. However, if you bundle your purchases with the $3 or $5 off coupons, the cost is usually still lower than the grocery stores.Sundays are Sustainable Sundays, and you get 15% off REGULAR priced items. You need to bring a clean reusable container, and have it weighed before using it.”

“If you need Caribbean and African specialty items, this is the place to go in Ottawa! I’m Jamaican and I was able to find a lot of specialty items such as Jamaican patties, buns/bread, cheese, snacks, fruits such as Guinep and mangoes. I would highly recommend to visit if you need items that are hard to find.”

“Store it’s nice first time in orleans food basic much better that cyrville location, I found the international section that they carry Philippines ?? product that I don’t see on other location, I’m hoping someday they carry some frozen product from Philippines ?? like tocino, longanisa, ice cream, and etc. so far for Filipino section I only see dry product or cans food. “Sobeys is usually my go-to grocery store, driving past two grocery stores on my way, but have been disappointed the past couple of weeks, as their flyer did not accompany my Metro and Farm Boy flyers in my Ottawa Citizen.Sitting at a computer going through screens is not as comfortable as sitting on the sofa with a cup or two of morning coffee, circling all the specials.I needed to fill my freezer, as my freezer died, resulting in tossing everything.So, I went through the flyers I received, went for those specials, and then picked up a few things at Sobeys, on the way home.When I can get them, the rib end pork chops are the best at Sobeys.It is a very clean store with friendly staff and losts of choices in prepared salads, fruit and veg, a great deli, bakery, and never had a problem with any meat selection.Hope the Sobey flyers re-appear, as have only shopped at Independent Grocers a couple of times in the past few years, since they stopped their home delivery of flyers.”
“Just like any other food store, but lately the fresh produce has been of poor quality. It goes bad within a day or two, and they still insist on spraying mist over it to make it look better than it really is.”
“This is probably my favourite grocery store. They don’t have a lot of non-grocery items which is nice, I don’t buy my socks at the grocery store. There’s not a lot of clutter (bunkers for sale items etc. reducing your ability to move around easily) in the aisles, they’re always well stocked and well organized and clean.”
“New owners did a great job of reorganizing the store. It's bright, clean and staff is very customer oriented. Prices are higher than competitors so it's not my go to store.”

“I went there today and I find the staff very friendly towards me. I was really impressed by the young gentlemen that works I assume as a stock boy (man). I was going to roll the cart all the way to my car but he offered to put carry my groceries all the way to the trunk of my car. Talk about being curtious! ?”
