They were absolutely right about the incredible freshness of the products. I can now confidently say that Roua is the best place to find fresh groceries at affordable prices.β
βItβs pretty good meat, but itβs no central fresh market. I bought three strip loins now, big pieces of meat. The first full one was amazing. Second two, which were halfβs to be fair, one was amazing. The βplatinumβ had the biggest grossest cap on it, I can see why some of the loins are cheaper, they have so much cap on them. Just spend 19.99 a pound at central and get perfect cut steaks. Itβs a better deal for your money.β

βGoodness me Waterloo has been our families main store for years. Our son has Autism and the calmer setting works for us. Vicky is a staff member who has gone above and beyond to accomodate our family and make us feel welcomed. I want to take the time to recognize her as she is the most caring customer service representative I have ever met, especially when interacting with those with special needs. Thank you. She always has a friendly attitude with every customer I have seen her interact with. It's tough to find stores and representatives at stores that are so inclusive and helpful. Other staff are great too. I wanted to take the time as a Mother of a special needs child to appreciate the kindness we recieve and witness. Top notch customer service. The product selection is good and quality is great. Potatoes are a perfect example of this. The locally grown produce is nice to see on the shelves. If you have an employee of the month my family would nominate Vicky.β

βLove this store, sooo many great goods, everything is always fresh, welcoming stuff , neatly organized. The speciality is the smoked stuff, beacon, sausages, ribs all of it tastes like in Europe. We come here for the last 4 years, never been let down. Highly recommend!β

βKiddos and I love bailey's, online ordering was a breeze. Glad to see them managing to grow a bit in these wild times, will definitely miss their lovely staff and local selection now that we are moving out of town. βThe pharmacists here have always been friendly and professional. Really, never had a complaint of any kind. Note that the GPS location in Google seems to be out of whack; the pharmacy is in the Sobeys store of course, not a block down the street.β

βSobey's always has a great selection of fresh quality food. Friendly people working in the store make for a pleasant shipping experience. Sobey's is a bit pricey, but the stores have many services like the bakery and deli that make it worth shopping there.β
βHad the best experience with Mackenzie in the flower department. She was so very nice and helpful with everything. I wanted to pick out some flowers for some pictures the next day and she suggested wet packing them which helped them last. She arranged the bouquet in such a pretty way that i couldnt stop gushing over itβ exactly what i wanted.β

βThis Walmart has been my go-to grocer for years. They have some of the best deals and a massive variety of stuff. Compared to the other local Walmarts around, this one is one of the most organized in terms of shelving and overall layout. It doesn't feel overly cluttered like the Walmart in ira needles for instance. Lines aren't long and they have 2 massive self checkout areas. Customer service isn't exceptional but typically nothing too bad. Fitting rooms are often out of service and there just might be one open and the surrounding area is often messy (clothes piled in carts, and the pyjamas are all over the place) but still functional. They also have a pretty solid international food isle with a lot of asian groceries I can't find at other classic grocers. They have a big selection of ramen! Yum!!β
βThe pharmacist here is very knowledgeable and kind. He was very helpful and friendly. He explained things very well and provided alternative options to help me save some money vs buying the name brand meds that the doctor prescribed. I come here for all my medications. The prices are great. Excellent service every time.β
