“Hi there! I'm writing this review for the CIBC branch at Bank and Queen in Ottawa. I want to say that Kim, Ke, and Rifa all went above and beyond to help me on Friday, May 19th, 2023. I needed to open an account and I had very little ID due to having my wallet stolen. These 3 wonderful women allowed me to open the account and helped me set up my online banking and my bank card despite it being 4:15 pm on a Friday and they close the branch at 5pm. I'm so grateful and so happy that they helped me that much and I never felt rushed. In fact I felt like they were happy to help me. Thank you ladies!!”

“Nov19/22 I went to South Gate Scotiabank on Saturday to open an account for my daughter. The gentleman was sincere in telling me, the staff was booked up, so we tried this location. The woman that greeted us was so sweet. She didn’t think there was a open appointment but she went and checked. She came back and asked us if we could hang out for a few mins, and someone would accommodate us. My daughter was so excited. I sincerely wish I remembered the woman’s name that served us. Also her colleague that helped us complete the process. Those two really made us feel like we’ve met many times. It’s the staff that keep clients coming back; those ladies nailed it! I also learned, that the employee at Southgate, called Alta Vista, before we arrived to let them know i was disappointed he couldn’t help us. I appreciate that.Thanks again,The Simpsons.”

“A teller here gave me erroneous information on two occasions, the first cost me money for fees I was told I wouldn't incur, the second cost them my community association's account after embarrassing me in front of our board. However, two of their staff are super-helpful and accurate enough to make up for the rest - you'll quickly find out which ones if you deal here regularly!”
