“Excellent Shopping Experience! I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Frank and Jonathan. I purchased a True Launch Treadmill I was extremely impressed with is family run business from start to finish everyone was very welcoming, knowledgeable and eager to help with no pressure to purchase. They took the time to explain every detail about the treadmill and emailed me brochures and answered all my questions in a timely manner. The delivery was prompt and the installation team to my surprise was Frank and Jonathan !!! they had the treadmill set up and calibrated no time. they made sure everything was in good working order before leaving which was important because this treadmill is absolutely technically top shelf. I could not be happier with my experience with Kinetic Solutions beyond 5 star shopping in my opinion. i look forward to adding more to my home gym in the future. Great job team ! Highly recommend anyone wanting great service and great equipment to visit them .”

“Decathlon is a magnificent and enormous store combining quality products at affordable prices covering practically every sport you can imagine, and even riding equipment!
I particularly liked:
- The prices are fair and affordable...if you go elsewhere you have either low quality products or products from well-known brands at exorbitant prices. Decathlon presents its own quality brands to you and you do not pay for advertising from major sports brands and their stars.
I frequently use sunglasses from Decathlon as well as gloves for running in cold weather and they are quality products that are like new after months of use
- People can try out the equipment and I've seen kids having a blast playing ping pong or trying out bikes.
- If you become a member (for free), you have a product exchange or return window of 1 year instead of 30 days! I have never heard of such a flexible return policy...I just returned a new product almost 2 months later without problem.
- The price tags have a QR code that takes you to the product page on decathlon.ca. This way, if they are out of stock of the size or color that suits you, it's very easy to place an order online.
- Self-service checkouts have NFC technology that allows you to place your products in a designated area and even several products at the same time, and everything will be correctly identified. This saves a lot of your time! If only they had this at the supermarket!
I am a loyal Decathlon customer, my only regret is that they do not have a store in the west of the city where I live....but otherwise I have received products ordered online in a delay of 2 or 3 days maximum with a very reasonable minimum amount for free delivery.”
“I had a great experience at the store here in Ottawa. The staff had a busy day, I came in before close on a Friday to pick up my order - delivered in store (due to the Canada post delay); they processed the pickup, helped me with sizing, and I was on my way. Happy with the service, thank you.”

“This is a great store run by good and helpful people. However, their hours make it extremely difficult to shop there and it's doubtful I would go back for that reason. I personally would never be able to make it weekdays between 11 and 5 and Thursday (the one evening they are open) they don't do skate sharpening. I would really encourage the owner to consider different hours.”

“It's definitely nice to have a local soccer shop to go to. Even though their prices are the same or higher than online, I'll gladly pay a little more to support a local brick & mortar store, but... what's with the odd return policies? After buying $300+ worth of gear, 1 day later I tried to return $18 unused/unopened socks with the receipt and they wouldn't accept the return. So strange. Make sure you double check the return policy on the items you're buying so you don't get caught like I did.Responding to the owner's reply:The socks were UNOPENED and still in the original packaging. It is literally impossible to wear the socks unless the packaging was opened, which it was not (see pictures). I could understand your response if the packaging had been opened, but this was not the case. The employee serving me also noticed they weren't opened and apologized saying he had no choice but to deny the refund because it's store policy. There are many other stores that accept socks for refunds as long as they are in the original, unopened packaging. Why doesn't Disalvo just adopt a similar policy? Adjust the policy rather than challenge an honest customer's review about it.”
