    “Been using the grocery store for well over a year now. Rarely any stock outs and very high quality on produce despite being a budget friendly grocer. Foodland Grocery stores on the other hand are a total rip off. They predicate on being the only grocer in town and charge obscene prices. I live half way between Grand Bend and Forest and I avoid Foodland like the plague. The in-store specials are great at this location too and I have never had an issue finding parking. . The staff is really polite and courteous when you ask them questions and will most likely walk you to the item you're looking for if you can't find something.”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard.     Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
