“This place is amazing! The owner is very nice and they recently added a self serve ramen station with a wide variety of noodles and a keurig. They also have toppings for the noodles like cheese. Would recommend if you live locally or are just in the area looking for a quick bite to eat.”

All the fellows who work here are so polite, care about your shopping and well being because sadly it’s not in the safest part of town. But alway treat EVERYONE with respect, I purchased a lighter and was shocked to see the cashier test the lighter I grabbed.. like come on that’s customer service at its finest!”

“I used to come here a lot when I was a kid and at the time it was owned by these really nice old couple. They used to always give me discounts on my snacks. I came here the other week to see if they were still here. The guy at the counter was some next teenager but I didn't bother asking him bout the old couple. Now, their stuff is super overpriced. Not surprised.”

“What a great neighborhood convenience store! I have been coming here for the past 15 years, first as a summer time visitor to Burlington when I was visiting my sister and her family - then as a resident neighbor when I moved here 9 years ago. What amazed me was that even when just visiting in the summertime, the clerks would remember my kids and I by name. My son at some point asked about a certain soda pop and Sam went and started carrying the brand purely on his recommendation, as it then became a best-selling product for the store in multiple flavors. They always have the time for a quick chat with you and will always give you a friendly smile in return for your patronage. Highly recommended without a shadow of a doubt!! ?”
“I live across the street from this store, and believe me, I would walk a block further to save a dime or get a friendlier smile…. Here I get the best of both.
I’m all for local family owned businesses, and this is a good one.
And on a more personal note…. The son is really stepping out of his comfort zone, and stepping up.
It’s really impressive to watch someone conquer their fears in real time.

“Envie Nails is honestly the best salon you can go to in southern Ontario! I get my nails done every 4 weeks cause they are perfect every time. From plain nails to extreme designs they can do them all. And if you have a girl/guy that can’t do the design they will call another nail tech to do it. They are all so nice and polite. I love that the salon is always clean and well kept. Even though there are times I have to wait in line, but the wait is worth the end result. Love envie nails!”

My friends and I were in Hamilton, suppose to go on a hike, but we took a detour to look for food before we do, and we had heard about this gem on tiktok. And honestly, its bang for your buck! They give you 3 perfect size tacos, with toppings that you will never see toronto do (you would have to either pay extra for it)
The tacos itself was crispy, perfect melted cheese with onion, tomatoes and lettuce. (I heard there guac was super good as well) there hot sauce is no joke. Adds the right amount of spice to it and better yet, the pricing for these were WORTH it. Been telling my friends and family about this place. This place is worth the hour drive!

They even sell baked goods; I'm a lifelong Nanaimo Bar fan and they sell some nice ones that I always treat myself to when I'm making my biweekly or so visits to Concession Street every two weeks or so. Ice cream looks good, too, might treat to that as well next time!”

to check and validate any winning
lotto tickets .
The self check lottery ticket station
appeared to jam up for some reason.
I then went over to cashier to validate
tickets there and his OLG machine
partially jammed up also for some
reason !
He was also thinking main unit at
OLG was likely possibly offline as
he also has no way of knowing as
they run the system !
He jokingly said maybe a million
dollar winner to witch i said wouldn’t
that be awesome . LOL
Will be rechecking my tickets later on ?
