I’ve always shied away from stores like Call It Spring because, in the past, I’ve felt like employees were constantly hounding customers, almost as if they were working on commission. But this time, I decided to just stroll around and take a look — and I’m so glad I did. There was an employee named Anjali, and I made sure to get her name because of how incredible her service was. Wow. She handled a rush like no other. At one point, she was helping multiple customers at once, yet somehow made me feel like I was her priority. She was so warm, welcoming, and attentive. She helped me find the right size and shoes without ever making me feel pressured. What stood out the most was how genuine she was. She didn’t try to half-ass anything or tell me what I wanted to hear just to make a sale. Last month, Foot Locker Inc. reopened its flagship store at 112 W 34th St. in New York City, as part of new retail plans. The store introduced "Home Court," a basketball-focused shopping area created with Nike and Jordan Brand. The updated store offers a basketball-themed shopping experience. It combines customer service with the newest products for use on and off the court from several brands.
