“This is my favorite Ace. I came looking for a set screw for my door handle, and the rep hunted and hunted. I left with two possibilities and a positive experience. They have everything, and when you walk in the door they will knew exactly where to find what you need.”
“I've bought a dozen or so chicks from this store, and feed and supplys to go along with them. Those were good experiences, but the one that stands out in my memory was the time I visited the store and was helped by a young man with a kiddie pool strapped to his back with a bungie cord. He politely informed me that he was actually a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle before ringing up my purchases. Absolutely the best customer service interaction I've had in a feed store, and it's kept me coming back.”

“So right before that snow / ice storm I was looking for a 4 prong cable for the generator and I saw there is one in stock on the website. By the time I got there it was gone but I have asked the staff and they called the other store nearby and they had it available, placed on hold for me and I’ve got what I needed, on time. “The best corn dog to ever grace upon my lips. I did not think that this was humanly possible from a General Store in Scholl's but it is! Don't sleep on this place!!! “BEST overall experience at TAP PLASTICS!!!
Walked in yesterday morning with a job that was so HOT, we required a one day turn around....and they finished it by dinner time!!! These folks are so knowledgeable about what they do and the customer service is amazing. Had the pleasure of working with Jack and he knew exactly how to help us. Gave great feedback about how we can help them as well. We've been using them for years and all we have to say is, they never disappoint. Very communicative and extremely reliable. Looking forward to continue working with them in the future.

“Better prices here than at home depot for most items. They have a better selection of flooring options here, but their vanity options were lacking. Good thing home depot is right next door so you can shop at both. The employees seem to know where everything is if you get a chance to ask them.”

This particular store is always clean and well stocked. The restroom is under lock and key but clean. Employees are knowledgeable, patient and will help willingly if needed. Every time I've gone in, it's been a pleasant experience. 5 stars from me!”

“My Rolair compressor needed service. Austin Farace, an employee at Portland Compressor, politely greeted me, looked at the problem and fixed it in 10 minutes. That kind of service is RARE and they actually answer the phone.
Bought the compressor from them 15 years back and if I need another I'll definitely go back.
Five-Stars all the way.”
“My elderly parents had a plumbing problem to their kitchen sink and dishwasher. We called another company that rhymes with ShMalmedal, and they ended up being the opposite of anything good. My parents have been unable to use their kitchen for a week. Today my parents called George Morlan Plumbing. Morlan Plumbing was able to respond within the same day. Alex showed up and in 30 minutes, identified the problem, fixed the problem, showed my Dad how to do it himself next time, adjusted the lines to the dishwasher for better efficiency, adjusted the water pressure in the dishwasher to flush particles better and verified that the water heater was not degraded. This was what excellent service looks like.”

Only tip avoid their parking lots at night have had stalking issues calls to my bosses people killed at work and no different here pulled in to talk to someone with 5 minutes had a kid in a bmw with his high beams on park in a way they were in my face when approached the kid denied doing anything wrong and I politely proceeded to tell him
U think I'd take time out of my night to fallow u park up and do the same petty stuff ..
This happens when the police make harassing targeted individuals acceptable ... And refuse to do their job
Unfortunately I believe they deserve every tragedy they encounter because of that”

Dependable Home Depot location as expected.
Four stars because I find this location has *slightly* higher prices than the Science Park Drive location in Beaverton. When shopping online and I switch pickup stores, the prices often increase (for example, Behr pavers sealer was ~$2 more here for the same product). It also tends to not have as many items in stock as that other location.
On the plus side, it's next to Lowe's if you need a secondary store for additional hardware needs.
The lines for customer service and self checkout can be a bit long, but it's hit or miss and often not a problem.
This location is sometimes easier for my personal commute and I'd happily stop in. Friendly staff worth a shout-out!
The rental department was great to work with as well.

“Superficially, there's similarity between Ace and big box Home Depot and Lowe's, that is, largely overlapping inventory categories. What sets Ace strongly apart is the live presence of people in the aisles who can direct you to what you're looking for, and offer good advice. For me, this makes my neighborhood Ace very much superior to these competitors.”
“Needed an odd sized piece for an outdoor faucet. We were referred to Ferguson. Walked in, showed them the piece, they had it. We had been to 3 stores who did not carry the odd size.. Will not forget this place!”

“Wow! Very helpful, reasonable, fast, inexpensive.
The person who greeted me knew exactly where the lock washers I wanted were and described to me where to go in two seconds flat.
I was able to buy the exact number of lock washers I wanted for less than a buck and a half. Amazing!
They also had an unbelievable selection of sizes so I just went down the line with the screw I brought to find the perfect one.
I liked the old-town feel of the store. It felt like going home again. I'll definitely be going back.”
