63 N Hwy 101, WheelerWe had a really lovely breakfast dining ekthperience. The owners renovated this old Mason's lodge and added a spacious dining room at the front, with charming views of the Nehalem River and Bay estuary, tastefully decorated with local art.
The food is appetizing and made with care. My wife and I both had tasty omelets; and she had a marionberry brioche that she WOULD NOT SHARE but was reportedly out of this world.
The pastry case has a nice selection of scones, brioche, cinnamon rolls and eclaires. They serve a variety of coffee drinks, smoothies and other soft drinks to wash down the delicious baked goods.

380 Marine Dr, WheelerThey might want to teach the wait staff what the purpose of the big sign at the end for Barbara is but other than that place is decent.
Update 7/9/26: Owner reached out with a GREAT story about Barbara and the sign itself and I want to thank him for that (ok so I am a bit of a history buff). BUT I still recommend that the staff there KNOW that story...it's a really great one! If need be I can write an SOP for them if they need it. Thanks owner, loved the response
