“The sandwiches here are solid. If you’re looking for a classic deli sando, this spot is tough to beat. No frills vibes. I grab an Italian here once a week for $7.”

“Maggie (the owner) cooked my order of pancit (bihon-kanton) & pork lumpia shanghai while I wait as they don't have already cooked food (turo turo) during fall & winter. The order of pancit was very yummy & generous serving. Will definitely go back to try other dishes.”

“This place is great! Friendly staff and delicious food! I especially liked the pork tamale, carnitas, and Mexican rice. Beans were a bit bland, but I think that they're more complementary than a stand-alone dish. Great prices on raw meat as well.”

“Since I was in the area I stopped by Fruteria El Campesino just to see what all they had, It was a nice little store filled with lots of Latin/Mexican products. They had a variety of beverages, snacks, fruits, vegetables and tortillas etc. The atmosphere of the store was pretty nice they had lots of latin/Mexican music playing on the radio/speakers. I ended up buying a couple fruits that I haven't seen before just to give him a try. The employees At the cash register were pretty fast and effichance not that nice but oh well. Overall I would say if you're in the area come by and shop and see what you can find.”

“I have been visiting this store for years and have never had an unpleasant experience! The wine selection is to die for and they always give me good advice on what pairs with what. I also love using the florist services and creating a unique bouquet there is one of my go-to gifts.”

“La tienda Palacios, has a very good service. The cashiers are very friendly and know how to pay attention to the products we were looking for. I was pleasantly surprised that, apart from having the best variety of products from Mexico, they also have a great selection of products from Peru.”

“amazing baked goods, my favorite is the nepolian cake. All around pretty authentic and solid when it comes to selection. I 1000% recommend going here, the low star reviews are all crumb eaters who don’t understand that it’s considered rude to be overly friendly and chatty to customers in eastern Europe. The staff is really nice and friendly when you do strike up conversation and i would never in a million years consider them nasty or rude. My favorite store❤️❤️”

“I am not sure if this is a sign of getting old(er), but tonight not only was I overexcited to discover (for probably the 3rd time) that this WinCo was open 24/7, but I was almost as excited to go shopping at 10 pm. I had a couple things I was looking for. First of which was Lunchables. I was sad to not be able to find these. Guess I will have to get at Walmart. I did find Crystal Light drink mix, and a killer deal on "Liquid IV" drink mixes. These are usually $10-$13 so I got a box just to try. I also picked up some Prime drinks for my son after his sporting events. I will not apologize for my giddiness, now if someone was to run through the store in a T-Rex costume, now that would be the icing on the cake. #WalMartFlashback”

“Great place! Product is usually cheaper here than grocery stores. Product changes occasionally so some items may not be available the next visit. Worth a visit to save some money!”

“I wish the bulk herbs were kept stocked, but I understand that organic herbs with amazing prices are hard to keep on the shelves! I am grateful for what they have when they have it! I found the other reviews about this store very unhelpful and so annoying. I say skip looking at the reviews and just make your own opinion because everyone has different ideas of what is good, and what is bad.”

“So I went to Aloha halal market to get some Ingredients to surprise my friend that was coming over to visit. They do have a dietary restriction which only allows them to eat Halal Food due to religious purposes. So I couldn't just go to Winco or any regular grocery store to get these specific halal ingredients. So I came here to find all the ingredients I needed which I did and I learned so much on the internet about what it means to be Halal.Halal is an Arabic word that simply means lawful or permitted, but generally refers to what’s allowed under Islamic law. It’s the opposite of haram, which means prohibited. Some things are very clear-cut halal or haram, however, as with a lot of religious law, other things can be open to interpretation. So I need to buy some meat that's why I couldn't go to any regular grocery store because for meat to be certified halal, it must be slaughtered in a manner known as dhabiha. That means to drain all blood from the carcass. In Islam, the consumption of blood is considered haram/not-allowed. A Muslim must recite a dedication known as tasmiya or shahada during this process. Not all meat can be made halal, regardless of how it was slaughtered. Animals that are always haram/not-allowed to eat include:Pork and its by-products are strictly forbidden,Donkeys, mules, and horses, Fanged animals (cats, dogs, bears, etc),Birds of prey,Reptiles and Some other animals such as monkeys.Overall I would recommend coming here if you are like me cooking for someone who has a restriction on food of the religious purpose, or you yourself are in the religion and just want to come and find some Halal Ingredients.”

“For those of us who remember the old location on Hwy 99 in Tigard, this store will seem very small. It still carries a fairly wide selection of spices and other Indian foods. I was able to find all the items on my list, about 20 different spices and masala mixtures. The proprietor is the same. Friendly, helpful, and chatty. I was very happy to see she was back in business.”

“This is by far the friendliest Safeway store. From the folks in the deli, to the stocking crew. The people who work here work hard, and celebrate teamwork. Even on the first day back after a big ice storm, the team was smiling and saying how excited they were to get to work with each other!Extra hats off to Mark in the bakery, Madison, and Matthew who always greet us with a smile and upbeat attitude.”

“The goat or lamb curry as a part of the Saturday buffet was outstanding. Soft and a lot of meat. The other dishes were prepared with care and tasty. Was mostly Punjabi style cuisine. But excellent to taste and excellent on the stomach. Jamoon made almost to perfection. Reasonably priced.”

“I had a great time shopping this store. The staff is so supportive (I'm a disabled shopper). It's small but packed with budget savers, including by the case items. Parking is ample and they do have an ADA ramp, though it is very steep. They do accept cards and are even kind enough to help you to your car if you need it.”

“I usually go to their larger store but if I just need a few items I'll go to this neighborhood market or the one just to the west on Baseline. It's your basic cookie cutter Walmart. Well stocked. Everything is fresh. Prices are very competitive. Checkout lines (if they even have one open) are painfully slow. They pretty much force you to do self-checkout which is fine so long as every item I purchase has a readable bar code on it. These self-checkout systems definitely have a ways to go before they are ready for prime time. Now that Bales has closed if I just need a few grocery items, I opt for Walmart over the other nearby chains.”

“I really like this place. I live close by and they're always my go-to for my favorite snacks. The lady in there is always polite and fast at working a till. I give a 5 star because there is never a line, it's open late, and I really like the way it is set up. Very professional!”
