“Honestly, I really appreciate this place. Nobody greeted me or asked if I needed any help which was really nice because it just gave me the chance to look around and figure out what I was into. I really hate getting into a store where everyone’s bombarding you immediately asking if they can help when really all you just wanna do is look around and see if something sparks joy. Sidenote, I wish that I could’ve done a Collab with them. I sent them some artwork years ago but nothing ever went through. I designed probably seven different skateboard designs and it was really exciting for possible collab but that’s OK. Nonetheless immaculate vibes big fan. Definitely stop in if you’re in town. They have great skateboards. I put a skull sticker on the mailbox around the corner. I mean, my grandma did I didn’t do it.”

I returned and bought a couple items and the service and culture had done a 180. It's hands down my favorite store for men's clothes and i'm really impressed by the way they handled whatever was going on in the store. Thanks team and excited to shop again.”
“Kat took exceptional care of us! She made it so easy for us to buy seven pieces of clothing for my elderly mother who does not like to shop! I love that they have petite clothing in larger sizes that are easy to don, and are in bright and youthful colors and patterns. I also appreciated the reasonable prices and soft, yet washable fabrics.”

“I went into Famous Footwear yesterday to get my granddaughter and 2 grandsons shoes. The store was absolutely packed, and there was only one lady working. I have truly never seen anyone handle so many customers at once with such skill—she was juggling multiple tasks, helping families, and still finding the time to laugh and joke with the kids and adults. She made what could have been a stressful 30-minute wait in a mile-long line actually enjoyable.
I’m pretty sure she was the manager, and if she wasn’t, she absolutely should be. Having run large companies for decades, I can honestly say I’ve rarely seen anyone manage such a high-pressure situation with such grace, professionalism, and kindness.
What stood out most was the way she made my grandchildren feel so special. My granddaughter left grinning ear to ear because the lady told her she had the best style. One of my grandsons said, “Gege, she said 5th grade is the best year—and I’m in 5th grade!” Those little moments made their day.
Every time they put on their new shoes, they’re going to feel like a million bucks, not just because of the shoes themselves, but because of how she made them feel in that store. That kind of customer service is rare, and it deserves to be recognized.”

“Cute boutique in downtown Bend! We were walking by and saw the cutest little Pomeranian face peeking out so stopped to say hi. We love a shop dog!! Her name is Jules and she’s so sweet! Her humans were there and greeted me and my Sandwich pup warmly. Looking forward to going back and doing some shopping next time we are in town. ☺️”

“I am giving my visit five stars solely for the experience that an employee named Charmaine provided. Prior to asking Charmaine if they had a particular hat in stock in a small size (there were none on display) I asked a young man with dark curly hair the same question and he said everything they had was on the display. Charmaine answered my question with “let me check our inventory, well it says we have more, give me a minute and I’ll check”. A short time later she returned with a small stack of small hats that were exactly what I was looking for. I manage a large home services company in Bend and dispose laziness but admire good honest hard working employees. Charmaine, you are an amazing customer service representative!! Thank you for keeping the bar high!

“Boot Barn used to be Spotted Mule, so I took my kids in to check it out. They have a lot of boots and a great selection of clothes.
The people working there were awesome — super friendly and even talked with us about the old Spotted Mule days.
They still have the big tree with the mountain lion in it, which made me really happy. It’s nice to see some of the old store still there.”
