“I needed the battery replaced in my watch recently. I called one of the big jewelry places in town and asked about the service. They said it's preferred to have the customer to drop off and allow 24 hours for their watchmaker. Not that I was necessarily in a hurry for the service but I decided to contact one more place just to see, and found great reviews for Art's so I gave them a call. I spoke with a very nice older man who told me watch battery replacement is a walk-in service completed while you wait. Great! I kid you not when I say that this service took 90 seconds or less to be done! It took longer for me to dig into my purse for my wallet than it did for that person to swap the battery, check it and reset the time, giving my watch a quick clean with a cloth before handing it back over. It was amazing! In and out in 5 minutes! Art's storefront is located in a little business area of Goodpasture Island tucked amongst other small businesses and medical offices, with plenty of parking. It is a small shop but you don't need much when dealing with small items like watches and jewelry (likely easily missed unless you are looking for this type of business). The service was both expert and kind. Highly recommend!”

“I recently had a unique and somewhat challenging experience with Skeie's Jewellers, and I cannot commend their customer service representative, Torre Spellman, enough for her exceptional assistance.I ordered a watch that was listed as in stock and available for express shipping within 2 business days or for next-day pick-up in the USA. I reside internationally, but was visiting the US within a certain time frame, which is why I had purchased express shipping. Unfortunately, there was a system error, and it turned out the watch was not available and had to be special ordered. This mix-up meant I missed the opportunity to pick it up during my time in the US.Torre Spellman, however, proved to be a true gem in customer service. Not only did she address my case promptly, but she also took it upon herself to handle the situation with utmost care. Torre ensured I was refunded for the express shipping cost and personally made the order for the watch, going the extra mile to speak with their Seiko representative.Despite facing hurdles in their online system, Torre kept me in the loop throughout the process. I received the watch approximately a week later. While the entire resolution took about a month, the urgency and dedication displayed by Torre in managing my case left a lasting positive impression.It's refreshing to encounter a business that values its customers and is willing to go above and beyond to rectify unforeseen issues. Kudos to Skeie's Jewellers and Torre Spellman for turning a challenging situation into a testament of outstanding customer service! “I am super happy with the service I received from New Twist. Being on the opposite coast, I had to check that the store was real and not a scam bc the price for the bracelets I wanted was super reasonable. When my order didn’t come, I was concerned, and I contacted them. It was my fault. I’d recently moved and put my old zip code, and we were unsure of what was going to happen. I checked the post office to no avail, and basically wrote the bracelets off. I didn’t expect anything from New Twist bc it was my error, but they continued checked in on me from time to time over the next month, which I truly appreciated. Christmas came and went, and I got a call that they’d finally been returned to them. They checked for the correct address and sent them right back out to me. I’m so pleased with their level of customer service, I will be using them more often.”

“My partner and I got our wedding rings custom made here! They listened to our requests and made us exactly what we wanted. They were super accommodating of the fact that we wanted lab made gem stones, which was fantastic. Another store we encountered was not as accommodating in that regard. They even got it done in a shorter timeline than they initially gave. My only complain was that my ring wasn't engraved when I initially went to pick it up, but they apologized and had it fully completed just a few hours later.”

“I only came into contact with this company because my child was graduating from one of Eugene's high schools. Being a dyed in the wool cheapskate, I was a little leery of the school's working so much with one vendor. (I like to shop around; yeah, I'm one of those people.) However, when I started comparison shopping for do-it-yourself announcements, etc., it became immediately evident that the pricing for Miners Graduate Services are more than fair. And I like that they are a locally owned business. When our first order arrived, I was really impressed by the quality of the items--all of them. Then, because I miscalculated, I found myself doing a rush request about two weeks before the graduation. I sent an email on a Friday night to the company, and I thought, "Well, I'll just get the items late, whenever they get around to my email, and I'll just do the best I can." Instead, I got an email reply within hours, and the order was in my mailbox two days later (one of those days was a Sunday, btw). Again, the items were of very high quality, and I'm so grateful!
